*WARNING: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE*
Youngjae didn't know what to do anymore. Yeah, he talked with Jinyoung every once and a while, but Jaebum was missing from his life and he didn't like that.
The older male was a colorful part of his life and without him, everything just felt dull. Youngjae was seeing his life in black and white for the first time in a while. It wasn't the first time, but it still hurt just as much as it did before.
He wondered how Jaebum was doing almost every moment of the day. Youngjae wanted to call and check up on him or go to his house and visit him, but he didn't have the guts to. The younger felt as if Jaebum was doing much better without him.
One day Youngjae woke up and headed out to get some food. He went to his favorite cafe and ordered his coffee, apart of him almost ordered Jaebum's coffee as well, but he stopped himself from doing so. Jaebum wasn't apart of his life anymore, Jaebum didn't need him. Once he got back to his room he opened the door and headed to the nightstand where his phone was placed.
When Youngjae turned on his phone there was 1 missed call, it was from Jaebum. Then the younger could feel his heart begin to race when he saw that Jaebum had tried to call him. He clicked on the notification and saw there was also a voicemail that went along with it. The younger was worried when he saw this because Jaebum never left voicemails. It was completely against his way of contacting others because he found it a useless way of communication. Youngjae clicked on the message and brought the phone to his ear.
"I know it's a surprise to see that I made a voicemail, but I just wanted to say goodbye to you for the last time. I know I've really screwed up everything and you don't need to worry anymore okay? I won't bother you ever again. I love you Youngjae, goodbye."
Youngjae's eyes widened when he heard Jaebum say those last few words, but that's not what was important. He quickly raced out of the hotel and ran down the alleyway towards Jaebum's house. He didn't know what was up with the older, but he knew that whatever it was it wasn't good. Hopefully, he wouldn't be too late.
When he turned the corner Jaebum's house was in sight. Youngjae ran up to the gate and typed in the code to open it. He slipped through and headed towards the front door. When Youngjae placed his hand on the door to his surprise it was already open. The younger's heart was racing at this point, he didn't know what was going on and he didn't like it at all.
"JAEBUM! JAEBUM ARE YOU HERE? ARE YOU OKAY? JAEBUM!" Youngjae yelled as loud as he could and listened for an answer. He jumped when he heard a loud crash come from upstairs. The younger ran up a flight of stairs and headed towards Jaebum's room. Youngjae's breathing had become heavy and tears were streaming down his cheeks as he thought about Jaebum. Mirrors were broken, alcohol bottles were scatted along the floor, and blood was everywhere.
What happened to Jaebum?
When he reached the older's room he heard the sound of glass being shattered and an object being shaken. Youngjae rushed into the bathroom to see Jaebum with a bottle of pills in his hand and broken glass all over the floor.
"JAEBUM STOP!" Youngjae shouted as he got close to Jaebum who was struggling to open the bottle.
He struggled to take the bottle out of Jaebum's hands and when he did Jaebum started to get angry. He began to thrash around in Youngjae's arms and try to push himself away.
"JUST LET ME DIE! GO AWAY! YOU DON' T NEED SOMEONE LIKE ME IN YOUR LIFE, I'M BROKEN!" Jaebum shouted loudly, but Youngjae wasn't going to take it. Instead, he grabbed Jaebum's face with his two hands and made Jaebum look him in the eyes.
"You listen here. Now. Who said I didn't need you in my life? Did you really think that leaving me alone would fix everything? You are my problem Jaebum and I want you to continue to be my problem. LEAVING ME ISN'T GOING TO FIX ANYTHING JAEBUM! I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE!" Youngjae let go of Jaebum's face and pulled him close. He wrapped his arms around the older and sat there with him.
"Please don't leave me Jaebum. Please, don't scare me like that ever again," Youngjae whispered in Jaebum's ear.
