i could fall apart here and now, but i don't want to die alone.

THE TWO WERE alone in Green's house.

Even as they occupied it, the house felt lonelier and gloomier still. Even as they pulled apart the thick curtains and allowed sunlight to illuminate the rooms, it felt emptier and lackluster still.

Life in Green's house was still.

"Hey, how often are you naked in my body?"

Admirably enough, that was Hoseok's way of breaking the silence.

Green was relating too hard to be phased over the question.

"As often as it happens, I guess," she replied, scrubbing at the stainless steel in the kitchen area while Hoseok wiped the windows. It reminded her so much of Jin's laugh that it made her squint at anything beyond the window to see if Jin was laughing outside.

"Define 'often.'"

"Uh, once or twice a week."

He snorted at this and further asked, "How many times have you seen my dxck?"

Green snapped back to her senses and hissed, embarrassment finally reaching her and covering her face. "Did you have to say it like that?"

"Well?"

"I don't know! I don't keep count!" she raged, throwing her rag cloth in his direction. He caught the rag with his left hand (she should've known) and then full-blown laughed at her. For a moment, it surprised them both at how it sounded in her voice.

"So how does it feel having it? I mean not having it is weird enough. Wearing panties and having curves in places I'm not used to is—"

"There's the door."

Hoseok was holding his sides trying to contain himself, making her regret sharing her breakfast with him. He then played with his hips, tantalizingly swaying them and snaking his hands up his waist, his chest, and the sides of his face.

Green shut her eyes tight and mentally begged in pain and vain. "That's my body, you xsshole," she grumbled under her breath.

After his high, they were quiet for a minute. Eventually, Green rubbed at her fleshy right arm, tentative to speak.

"Hoseok," she muttered, "how long do you think we'll be stuck like this?"

Hoseok paused and gave it some thought, his chipper mood still lingering. "We woke up as each other, so we can't tell when we switched last night," he responded. "It was definitely while we were sleeping. Hopefully we switch back before evening."

That wasn't what she meant. She meant the entire body-switching phenomenon in general— could either of them know when it'd all stop? She didn't have the heart to clarify him.

"Why?" he asked.

"What do you have this evening?"

"Oh, nothing. I just want to shower after this, and... also, can you take this off?" He pointed to Geurin's arm, looking weighty on his slouching, uneven shoulders. "I noticed you don't wear it in the shower and sometimes on the weekends when you're alone, but I don't know how to take it off."

Green blinked at him. "Have you ever taken the initiative to take a shower in my body?"

"No."

She narrowed her eyes. "Really."

"I swear I haven't. Ever! You?"

"I have," she casually replied, walking in his direction and gesturing for him to lift his arm. Instead, unresponsive Hoseok gaped like a fish.
