SHE WAKES UP as... Hoseok.

Ambling to the bathroom, Green washes her face and brushes her teeth. She never really explored his bathroom cabinet before except to put on his contacts from time to time, but this time, she notices he has acne treatments.

So he does have acne, she thinks, applying an ointment to a small red spot on Hoseok's face. It's been bothering her since yesterday, but she hasn't said anything to Hoseok. I noticed his face was a bit on the oily side. Maybe I'm lucky that I personally have drier skin, except for when I'm on... oh no.

HOSEOK
HEY WAKE UP THIS
IS NOT A DRILL

HOSEOK
YOU'RE A LEAKING
TAP

Hoseok stirs from the specific sound Green has on for texts from her phone. It's the sound of a snake.

I am not a snake, I said. I hate snakes, I said, he thinks, snatching his phone beside his pillow when he hits his left hand on the edge of a desk. "Ah, shoot," he wheezes, as he feels something in between his legs.

His head is dizzy, he feels like throwing up, his stomach is hurting, and his womanly parts down there are, like, clenching up painfully or something, and everything is cloudy and raw, and he has no idea why

I'M GEURIN, he realises all too late, the adrenaline snapping him awake. He reads the texts. And I'm on my period.

He genuinely wonders if this level of torture is normal, if this is what his sister and mother have to go through once a month, and if it's as disgusting as he imagined. He sucks in a breath and apologises to God as his hand goes down to touch it.

He nearly faints.

Hoseok smashes the call button on his contact. The first thing he hears is, "I'm coming over."

"No! This is embarrassing! I can—"

"This my body, so I need to be there to help—"

"Why can't you like, take pills to prevent it or— wait, don't those have side effects? Never mind, don't do that. Don't hurt your body."

"Sure. I'm leaving the house. For now, listen to me."

"O-Okay," he stammers, throat dry and chest tight. He's dying. "I've only heard stuff from my sister."

Green sighs in the receiver. "I guess that means this'll be a little easier to explain. Hopefully. Do you know how a tampon works?" She smacks her head. "That was dumb. Actually, just don't put on a tampon. Wear a pad."

"I'm sorry, say that again."

"Go to the bathroom. Take out the tampon and don't breathe or look. Just wrap it in toilet paper, put it in those small plastic bags I have under the sink cabinet, and get a heavy pad and stick it on the underwear. Got it?"

Hoseok rushes into Green's personal bathroom, slams open the cabinet under the sink ("Calm down! You don't need to destroy my bathroom for this, Hoseok!"), and finds where she stashes her pads.

He stares for a moment.

"There's like, a thousand colours!" he flails. Green smacks her head repeatedly. "Purple pads, orange pads, pink pads, green pads... oh god. Are they all different sizes?"

"There aren't any white ones?"

"No?"

"Urgh, just— just get the green one. Is it heavy?"
