I was sitting on the couch, watching my show "Awkward". It was kind of cold outside so we both decided to stay inside the house. Josh's house already felt like home to me, even though I just moved in 5 hours ago. I feel like I've been living in this place for years.
As I was watching a commercial, Josh came out of the bathroom with his Adidas hoodie unzipped showing off his abs and his Adidas sweatpants. I bit my lip, staring at him. He headed to the kitchen grabbing the chips. I still kept on staring at him.
" Someone's staring at me," said Josh with a smirk. I knocked myself out of my daydream and got back to reality.
" Ha ha ha, very funny. And I wasn't staring at you by the way," I defended myself.
" Yeah, and my name's Boo Boo the Fool," said Josh chuckling. My smile faded and turned into anger. Since "Awkward" was over, I stood up and stomped up the stairs to our room. I could hear Josh yelling for my forgiveness from downstairs. As I entered our room, I slammed the door shut and sat on my side of the bed. I crossed my arms and just sat there in silence. Then, I could hear the door creak as Josh was opening the door slowly. He opened the door fully and closed it.
" Leah, I'm sorry. I was just joking around. You know me and how I am," Josh said apologizing. I just sat there saying nothing.
JOSH POV
I started to apologize to Leah for what I said. I should of known that she was sensitive. I sighed when she didn't say anything back. Then a smirk appeared on my face. I crawled on the bed, heading in her direction. I sat behind her with my legs touching hers. I started to give her a massage and kiss her neck. She breathed slowly, like she liked it.
" Josh stop," she said trying to push me off. I ignored her and kept on kissing her neck.
" Josh," she whimpered. I stopped, completely in shock.
" Did you just-"
" No! I did not just moan your name," she said defending herself. I laughed and she laughed too.
" I'm sorry."
" I know you are." She gave me a peck on the cheek as I hugged her from behind.
" So, you never told me the legendary story about you and Jacob," I said.
MY POV
I sighed. " Do you really wanna know?" Josh nodded.
" Okay, here it goes."
" I was a senior in high school. I was so excited to graduate soon. From freshman to that time, I didn't have a boyfriend because I was focused on school work . I got straight A's, received many scholarships to colleges, and was the valedictorian. After we finished the SATs, Leayah decided that we should go to a party. As the party got more wild, I went to the coat room and stayed in there. Then, Jacob came in the room too. We both didn't feel comfortable at the party. We introduced ourselves and talked until the party was over. We exchanged phone numbers and started talking for a while and hanging out too. After graduation, Jacob asked me to be his girlfriend and we dated for about a year and a half. When college came along, we both went to UCLA. My cousin Keke was new to the state so I helped her around. I introduced her to Jacob and he looked at her, his eyes full of lust. He never looked at me like that..ever. So when Thanksgiving came along, I went to visit my family. After I came back, I head to Jacob's dorm to see him having sex with Keke. I was so heartbroken that I broke up with him. After that, I never spoke to Keke or Jacob again," I finished. It was completely silent for a moment.
" I'm sorry, baby," Josh said hugging me tight.
I smiled. " Don't be. I'm glad I did break up with him. Because: 1. I was able to graduate college without him. And 2. I would of never met you," I said with a smile. He smiled too and we shared a romantic kiss. We pulled apart and hugged each other in silence.
" How about I cook dinner tonight." said Josh.
I laughed. " YOU know how to cook? No offense, but look at you! You don't look like a guy who would cook," I admitted.
" As a matter of fact I can cook. And what do I look like?" he questioned.
" You look like a guy who would just look at himself in the mirror all day then work out at the gym. Then when you come home, you look at yourself at the mirror again and brag to all your friends about how buff you are," I finished. Josh put his hand over his heart in shock.
" Leah! I am shocked. That hurt my heart to the soul," he said deeply. I rolled my eyes.
" I'm just saying," I said putting my arms up in surrender. He smiled and got up from the bed.
" Fine! I'll prove it to you that I can cook. Just wait and see," Josh stormed out of the room in pride and headed for the kitchen.
I chuckled. " This boy is a trip."
