When me and Josh left the tattoo parlor, we decided to walk around the mall a little bit more. After we hit the food court, we left. While we was driving, I got a notification from Instagram. Curious, I unlocked my phone and went in my DM. It read:

From: 6:00- TURN UP TIME!!!
Clothing: Fancy-Casual
C U THERE😄💩
"Hey, Valeria and Josh H. are throwing a dinner party, wanna come?" I asked.
"Sure, I am kinda hungry right now," Josh replied.
"We just ate! We went to the food court in the mall!" I exclaimed.
"Well, I'm still hungry."
"Whatever, anyways it's invitation only so unless you get an-" then Josh's phone blew up. He picked it up and read it.
"Cool! I got an invite! I guess I am going," Josh said with a smirk.
"Stupid," I mumbled.

Me and Josh were getting ready for the dinner party. Since it said fancy-casual, I put on my jet black skinny jeans, a red strapless shirt with ruffles at the bottom, and my red bottoms. I curled my hair and pinned it to the side, also applying makeup. After I gave myself the thumps-up, I headed downstairs.
"Are you ready or naww?" I asked impatiently.
"What does it look like?" Josh scoffed.
"What's up your ass today?" I questioned angrily.
"Nothing, I'm just very hungry. When I'm hungry, I get cranky."
"You and me both," I joked, which made him laugh. Then, we headed to the car and was on our way.
After an hour of driving, we finally made it to Val's house. There were a whole bunch if cars in the driveway and more people were coming. Me and Josh got out the car and walked up to the door. I rang the doorbell and the sound echoed through. After a few seconds, the door flies open, revealing Aholibanna.
"Hi," she greeted us in her "voice".
"Hey," we said in unison.
"Well, I'm glad you guys came. Everybody's here. Valeria's running around the house like a mad woman. But besides that, everything's cool. Come on in!" Aholibanna said motioning us to come inside. We obeyed and went inside. There were tons of people scattered around the house. Butlers serving people wine and champagne. The song "Best Day of My Life" by American Authors was booming. The place looked beautiful.
As we were staring at the marvelous home, a butler walked up to us.
"Do you want me to take you guys jackets?" he asked in a formal voice.
"Um, I guess," I said unsure. The butler nodded and took our coats and walked away. We both shrugged and started to walk around. After a while, we found our friends.
"Hey guys!" I said.
"Hey!" They all said in unison.
"You guys know where Val is?" I asked.
"She's somewhere around here. She's been trying to get this dinner party perfect ever since we got here," stated Sterling.
"She's never thrown one before," Dayana jumped in.
"She told us she had an announcement to tell us, but I'm only here for the food," said Pamela casually. Franchesca punched her arm and gave her a death glare.
