Kathryn's POV
It's too bright.
I groan, and yell at Grace.
"Grace! Turn it off!" I yell, covering my face with my blanket.
Grace's P.O.V.
I came back from the rooftop, but I was bored! Kathryn was asleep on the couch. I flopped onto the couch next to Kathryn and turned on the TV staring at the new episode of SpongeBob.
Honestly, I probably could not live without SpongeBob. He was just so happy all the time. A text interjected my mini introspection.
'Is Kathryn in your cabin?' I was a little skeptical about this text, because I always knew where Kathryn was, so why was this time any different.
Lucas texted me a second text, 'I need to talk to her.'
I turned to my side and poked Kathryn in the side, but her reaction was disapproved. She laughed and turned the other direction. I shined my phone in her eyes.
Kathryn groaned and screamed, "Grace! Turn it off!"
I snickered and shone the light again. "No."
"Why?"
I went straight to the point. "Where were you last night?"
Kathryn's POV
"Where were you last night?" Grace asks.
I look curiously at her, "I was just out," I say nonchalantly.
She glares at me.
"Fine, I met a guy, we just hung out awhile." I say exasperated.
"What happened to giving Lucas a chance?" She asks, rolling her eyes.
"I said I would give him a chance, I need to explore my other options to." I say, averting my gaze from hers.
"I'm telling Lucas." She says simply, walking towards the door. I was so dead.
"I'm telling Sean." I say, smirking as I watch her spin around glaring at me.
Grace's P.O.V.
Did she just say that? I was just trying to do what's best for her. I stared at the door and decided to use this oppurtunity, because this would be a perfect time to have some girl time.
"Hey Kathryn?"
Her head turned around and she stared at me with her big blue eyes. Her eyes reminded me of Sean. We had such a good time last night. We just hung out and watched movies. We didn't speak of my crying once. He was really good company, but he probably just hung out with me cause he felt bad for me.
I heard Kathryn clear her voice and I directed my attention back to her.
Kathryn spoke first. "How about we have a girls night? Just you and me. We won't speak of boys or see any boys. But just for today."
"I was just about to suggest that." Wow, maybe Kathryn and I were closer than we seemed.
I pulled out my car keys and almost handed them to Kathryn. But before she could grab the keys, I yanked my hand back.
She growled in a low voice and I froze in place. I turn around to see Kathryn on the floor wildly laughing.
I stood astonished, "Why'd you do that?"
Kathryn abruptly stopped laughing and glanced up. "I thought it was funny."
"Yeah, because reminding me of my dad is funny." With that I stormed out of the dorm room and slipped into my car. I pulled away from the parking lot and it felt like a part of my heart was crushed. This time I started the fight. I don't know what's gotten into me. A honk weaved it's way through my mind. I turned around and saw a man sitting in a car grinning evily.
