Grace's P.O.V.

The thought of someone hurting an innocent child haunted my mind. Although in this situation, the victim is neither child nor innocent. It was still haunting my mind.

I spotted "Mr. Samuels" out of the corner of my eye. He was attempting to hide from us, but frankly he was doing a terrible job.

I asked Kathryn if she wanted to go to Starbucks, but really it was my ninja skills to follow "Mr. Samuels." I knew she wouldn't want to go, she groaned and told me that she was too tired to go anywhere. I smirked and walked away.

She could be such a lazy person when she returns from her runs. Of course, that was my fault, but I couldn't let her change into a werewolf at school. I got into my car and slowly followed behind "Mr. Samuels" car.

I just now realized that I had yet to learn his first name. He parked in front of a park and slowly got of his car, glancing around making sure no one was looking. Luckily, I had hunched my back forward, so that he couldn't see me, just my car.

He crept into the woods and suspicions flooded my mind. What if he was a werewolf too? What if his next victim was Kathryn? I was about to recoil and return to my car, but I decided I might as well get some evidence.

I slinked into the woods and looked around before I saw him surrounded by a crowd of werewolves. I was about to help, but I was helpless in this particular circumstance. I snuck behind a monumental rock, so I could hear their conversations better.

"Did you find any news about her?" a deep voice spoke with worry.

"No sir, but there might be new werewolves in town."

"Really," the muscular voice changed to curiousness.

"Yes sir."

"Good job! You've helped yourself from one pounding.

I gasped, so these were the people that were hurting him. Big mistake. They heard my gasp and started to walk towards me, but before they could I turned and ran.

"That's the girl," a voice said, "she's the new werewolf in town."

They ran and almost caught up to me, but I had already gotten in my car. Relieved, I put the key in the ignition and almost drove away.

A muffled voice said, "Wait! Let's find out who these werewolves are."

I turned to see Kathryn sitting in the back seat grinning. She was in her human form and she was slightly mad. I nodded my head and waited nervous. Kathryn noticed my panic and she turned to me, "Hold your hands like this." She held her hand in a fist. She was teaching me how to fight.

"Oh come on, Kathryn. You know I know how to fight."

Realization hit her eyes, and she nodded dreading the fact that she had brought up that topic.

The "gang" of werewolves ran out of the woods right then, and they almost pounced on me. A voice interuptted.

"Wait, is that you Kathryn?" A deep voice questioned. She turned around shocked, her mouth dropping open, looking as though she had seen a ghost.

..

Kathryn's POV

My breath hitches and he is standing in front of me, the guy I had once counted on, believed in, the boy I had first loved.

"Lucas," I finally find my voice, he nods and sends me a happy look, which I meet with a glare.

I growl lowly. "Werewolf gang? I can't believe this, you lied." I seethe, turning on my heals, shifting into my silver wolf with blue eyes and taking off into the seeming never ending forest, not wanting to hear his explanation, he had already done enough.

I shouldn't have left Grace but I knew they wouldn't hurt her. If the real Lucas really was who he used to be. When I made it to our dorm, I changed and brushed my teeth, hopping into bed, crying myself to sleep with no control.

Grace's P.O.V.

She left me there. Alone. What kind of friend does that? I glanced at the crowd of werewolves surrounding me and tried to start a conversation.

"So...."

Instead of trying to start a conversation. The boy that Kathryn called 'Lucas' asked me a question that blew my mind.

"Would you like to join our gang?"

"Kathryn might, but I'm not a werewolf like you guys."

"That's okay. We have another human in this gang."

"Wait... what?"

"Yeah, Sean's a human too. Just like you."

"Who's Sean?"

The boy from school rummaged through the crowd until he was in front of everyone else. " I am."

"What?"

"My name is Sean."

"Oh joy, the bad boy knows his name." I muttered under my breath. The other werewolves snickered, but Sean stood there confused.

I turned to Lucas. "I'm gonna have to ask Kathryn. But I'm not joining, especially after knowing that you guys hurt humans for no reason."

Lucas understood what I was talking about, "he brought that upon himself."

Now I too was confused. "How?"

Sean spoke up with rage, "that's none of your business."

I shrugged and walked to my car. I've decided that I'm done with these werewolves for one day. I drove away, watching their eyes burn into my very soul.
