"What are you hiding?" Fabian interrogated deeper.

"Nothin,you don't need to worry." Ethan assured.

~The next day~

 "Sophie,do you wanna walk to school together?" Ethan asked as he walks in her room to see that she's not in here. He was about to leave when he spotted something on her bedside table. He walked over to it and it was a headshot of Sophie and she looked so pretty with her long,shiny,curly,black hair with her highlights and her eyes that shined like diamonds and her smile that was...perfect. But he found a note on the back that read:

You're the best girlfriend ever!!! Happy anniversary,Babe.Love you,xoxo

"Best girlfriend ever...who is this guy?" Ethan muttered to himself taking a picture and sent it to Drake.Sophie came in and asked,

"What are you doing here?" 

"Were you cheating on me?" Ethan confronted holding up the picture. Sophie walked closer and answered,

"He's just an old friend,why?"

"Just an old friend? Then why did he say 'best girlfriend ever'?" Ethan invesitgated.

"Were you cheating on me?" Ethan echoed with the same tone in his voice.

"No." Sophie worded trying to grab the picture but Ethan pulled it away.

"This clearly says 'girlfriend'. You were cheating on me were you?" Ethan asked.

"I can't believe you...I hate you." Ethan shared storming out the room and slamming the door shut.

~At school~

"And he wrote 'Happy anniversary,Babe'. So they must've been dating for a long time." Ethan explained on the phone with Drake.

"Dude....this was from before you started dating." Drake figured out.

"How do you know?" Ethan quizzed.

"It says at the top right corner of the note '2-14-13'. You guys began dating the year after that." Drake pointed out.

"You just yelled at her for nothing." Drake concluded.

"I'm sorry,bro." Drake finished and hung up.

"What did I just do?" Ethan murmured to himself. He saw Sophie talking to her friends at the locker and once her friends left Sophie opened up her locker and put her books away. Ethan walked over and apologized,

"Sophie,I'm really sorry. When I said 'I hate you',I really didn't mean it."

Sophie didn't even lay an eye on him,slammed the locker shut and walked away acting like she didn't see him.

"Wait,Sophie,come back." Ethan demanded.

Sophie stopped in her tracks,turned around and walked back over.

"What?" She worded sternly crossing her arms.

"Look,Drake told me that the note was given to you last year. I'm so sorry. I ca-" Ethan started.

"Wait,how did Drake know when it was given to me?" Sophie investigated.

"Cuz I sent him a picture look....I'm really sorry. I didn't think you dated him before we started dating. Can you ever forgive me?" Ethan pleaded with his puppy dog face.

"You told me to think about getting back together with you...I don't have to think that long...no." Sophie exclaimed giving him the death glare walking away.
