Chapter 52
Austin and Chelsea were inviting themselves in Sophie's house calling her name hoping she will respond with footsteps heading their direction except while they were strolling inside the kitchen,they fell through the floor and found themselves lying down in the storm inside the dark cave.
"Oh,look what we have here. How nice of you to join us." Anubis welcomed.
"Sophe,what's going on?!" Austin asked though the loud boom of the thunder
"Anubis is gonna take away my powers if I don't give up Ethan!" Sophie explained.
"What?!" Chelsea and Austin shouted at once jumping up.
"Stop talking!!" Anubis ordered.
"Gladly." Sophie worded jumping over the chasm performing three flips on the way then she made it on her feet safely on the other side with her back turned to Anubis. Sophie turned around and folded her arms.
"You wanted a war,you'll get one." Sophie stated grabbing the blaster from her holster and pointed it towards Anubis preparing to shoot it at him. The blaster shot lighting hitting Anubis so hard he couldn't fight it's power to save himself before he disappeared. The thunder weakened,the lightning was no longer in sight and the rain was gone.
"Sophe,you did it!" Chelsea cheered from the other side.
Sophie replied with coughing and collapsing on the ground.
"Or not. Sophie!" Austin shouted jumping over the chasm making it successfully as Chelsea followed him making it as well. He knelt down beside Sophie who's coughing non stop.
"Sophe,it's gonna be okay. You're gonna be fine." Austin comforted wrapping his arms around her.
"No,I won't." Sophie spoke coughing.
"Yeah,of course you will. Don't say that." Austin uttered.
"No. He took away my powers. I fought too late. I love you both." Sophie let out before taking her last breath and....her whole world went black. Chelsea was breaking down in tears. Sophie's eyes squeezed in pain of her head and asked with a smile,
"Hey,what's up with all the crying?"
"Sophie,you're okay!" Chelsea exclaimed. Sophie tested out her powers and formed a fireball with her hands.
"I got my powers back." Sophie sounded through a grateful smile.
"I'm so glad you're okay. I gotta go call Ethan. Catch him up on what happened." Austin informed.
"Guys..." Sophie began.
"Yeah?" Chelsea replied.
"Who's Ethan?" Sophie resumed.
