Chapter 35

Ethan spent weeks at Sophie's Dad's house in England trying to win him over and everything he tried,he failed. Ethan and Sophie were sitting at the kitchen table waiting for her Dad to make his decision on whether they could get married. Sophie was wearing a short sleeved white lace dress with black thin belt with a bow. Sophie and Ethan were squeezing each other's hands sitting close to each other. Sophie was squeezing her eyes shut feelings all kinds of feelings when her Dad came in ready to reveal his choice.

"I have made my decision and I decided..." Dad started arising the suspension.

"No..." Dad ended as Ethan and Sophie looked down attempting to conceal their tears.

"You can not get married. You're too young. I'm sorry."

~Later~

Ethan and Sophie were in LA in Sophie's room slow dancing when Ethan informed,

"I'm sorry but...my parents said that if we don't get married in the next five years,I'm moving with them,"

"Oh..." Sophie sounded.

Ethan took the tiara from her bedside table and placed it on Sophie.

"Just know that you'll always be my princess." Ethan commented looking into her eyes. Sophie took off her locket and gave it to Ethan.

"You're giving me your locket? I thought this means so much to you." Ethan spoke.

"It does but you mean way more to me than a dumb locket." Sophie explained putting the locket around him. After she put it around his neck, she stared into his eyes, her hands slid down to his shoulders and she kissed him over and over. Her lips lost control the second they touched his.

"We can still have a long distance relationship, right?" Ethan asks.

"Of course." Sophie answered.

"I love you." Sophie began.

"I love you more." Ethan replied before Sophie hugged him one last time before he moves away clutching his unbuttoned flannel shirt.

"I gotta go pack." Ethan reported when he kissed her cheek and opened the door. He took a final glance at Sophie as she gives a weak wave and a half smile. He waves back before closing the door. They both rest their hands on the door looking down depressed that they've been apart. They dropped their hands to the side and stepped back from the door.
