Sophie was lying on top of Ethan in the meadow getting cozy with him when she asks,

"How should we tell my Dad?"

"Oh yeah, that's gonna be hard." Ethan added.

"What are we gonna do if he says we can't get married?" Sophie examines.

"We get married anyway." Ethan answers watching Sophie's smile form on her face.

"I love you,Ethan," Sophie starts.

"I love you,too." Ethan finishes.

~Later at Sophie's house~

To their surprise,Sophie's Dad came to visit with Eddie and Patricia which is gonna make the news even harder to reveal. Sophie is in her room pacing back and fourth feeling really nervous. Her palms start sweating,she feels a knott inside her stomach,the walls are closing in on her and keeps hyperventilating. Ethan came in to see her lying down on her bed.

"What's wrong,Baby?" Ethan asks.

"Just nervous,that's all." Sophie answers.

"Don't be. I'll be there with you holding your hand when you tell them." Ethan expresses walking over to her and jumping onto the bed next to her.

"Just keep in mind that I love you and I wanna spend the rest of my life loving you and holding you in my arms." Ethan resumed. Sophie got up and grabbed his hand heading downstairs to see Dad,Eddie and Patricia in the living room. Sophie announced,

"Guys,I have something to tell you."

All eyes landed on her after she said that. There's no turning back now,Sophie thought.

"Ethan and I are engaged." Sophie exposed followed by slight gasps.

"What?" Dad asks traumitized.

"We're engaged." Sophie repeated in confirmation. She hears Ethan's voice inside her head speaking the words,'Don't be. I'll be there with you holding hands when you tell them.','I love you.',I wanna spend the rest of my life loving you.',holding you in my arms.'

"I don't think I was clear when I told you you can not get married." Dad stated.

"He's my boyfriend and I'm marrying him whether you like it or not." Sophie spoke in a cocky tone before a few more gasps flooded the room because of what she just said. Dad yelled,

"I've had enough!"

Dad stood up and dragged him away while Patricia and Eddie walked over to stand by Sophie keeping her in place from chasing after him. She calling his name over and over again hoping to hear a response but instead she heard nothing but the sound of Dad's car driving Ethan back home. Sophie resting her head on Eddie's chest dropping her head down attempting to hide her tears.

"It's gonna be okay,Sis." Eddie assured hugging her.
