I open my eyes and stand on shaky legs, my knees ache, my head feels like a jackhammer against my skull and my throat is dry and makes it hard to swallow. I really need to pee, I shake out my limbs and stride over to my door with my head hanging low. I rub at my stiff neck and look up, everything I did last night comes crashing back. Me trying to kill my dad, Chaos not being able to look at me, and the fear in Night's eyes.

"Crap," I place my forehead against the freezing metal and sigh. I really need to pee and I'm hungry. I try the door handle but it's locked. A prisoner in my own home, I slide down the door and bang my head twice against the door. The door opens quickly and I fall back. "Sh-" I try to throw myself forward to stop but gravity pulls me down. I hear a snicker and I look up, I'm met by two pools of surface sky, Night.

"Ah gravity, thou are a heartless bitch," he smiles and his eyes crinkle around the edges. I pick myself up and brush off my dust covered legs.

"Did you come up with that all by yourself?" I smile sheepishly at Night as he rubs the back of his neck.

"No it's from this hilarious TV show up on the surface called the Big Bang Theory. One of the characters said it." He smiles more and now I can see what Chaos is always blabbering about.

"So, you stole it." He laughs out loud and so do I. We both look at each other in the awkward silence that follows.

"Yea, you could say that," I chuckle and that sets him off again. I pretend to punch him in the arm and he pushes me. It reminds me I have to pee. I try to go around him but he puts his hand out to stop me. I go left, so does he, I go right, so does he.

"Move," he shakes his head and his smile fades from his lips, it hits me when his smile shatters on the floor. He's ordered to no let me go. "Move, I need to pee." He hesitates but then moves out of the way and nods, his smile does not return. He grabs me by my upper arm and leads me to my private bathroom. He pulls out a long skeleton key that has the letter f in large black ink on it. He unlocks the door and then pushes me inside. His touch lingers on my skin and gives me shivers.

"Hurry up, your dad will be back any second." I can hear the fear in his voice and the clanging of keys as he bounces his leg up and down. No matter how much I think Night and Chaos are scared of me, they are terrified of my father.

When I finish I hop into my shower and run the water on ice cold. My shoulders ache and my knees are sore, I gasp as the frigid water lands on my bare head. I massage the bruised spots with gentle fingers and start to hum. I bounce from heel to toe when I start to get into the song, so into it I start to sing.

"We are the champions, my friends. . ." I can hear Night laugh and I laugh and then scream on top of my lungs. "AND WE'LL KEEP ON FIGHTING TIL THE END, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS." I hear Night join in and we scream.

"NO TIME FOR LOSERS, CAUSE WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!" Big finish, we hold the last note and clutch out stomachs in laughter.

"QUEEN, GOOD CHOICE!" Night yells over the splash of water hitting the basin.

"YEA, ONE OF MY FAVORITES," I yell back. I can picture him smiling and biting his bottom lip, it gives me and ache in my chest and makes my arm tingle where he touched me. GOD, I'm acting like Chaos.

"Fire," I scream and cover my girl parts and crouch into the shower corner.

"DAD!" I cry out, what in the hell is he doing in here?

"I came to tell you I'm returning to the surface now that I see you've regained conrrol and aren't fraternizing with the guards."

"Wha-?"
