Never in my entire life did I ever think that I would be going to dinner, with an Egyptian god, but here I am being taken to dinner draped on the arm of said god. This should be interesting.

"You look lovely, and that hair." He smiles and pats my hand making me shiver and blush.

"Thank you, but don't get used to it. I'll burn it off later."

"That will be a true shame," he picks up the dark luscious hair and sniffs it, giving me chills. We head toward the dinning room and as we walk pass an Anubis my curiosity sparks, I stop in my tracks and Set growls.

"How do you have Anubis' working for you, aren't they gods too?" He sighs tiredly as if he's had to tell the story over and over again.

"They came to me seeking rescue from Osiris, he became a tyrant after the Anubis' gave up their title of gods of the underworld. He used them as slaves, made them do his bidding. So they came to me for help, me being Osiris' enemy." He laughs with malice dripping from his mouth, we continue on toward the dinning room even faster than before.

"How do I know if that's the truth or if you're just lying?" I look up at him and smile and see he is also smiling, but smiling like a fox.

"You don't." He grabs me close and laughs into my hair, I try to push him away but he holds my waist so I can't get away, he hisses into my hair and cackles.

"Let me go you creep." He loosens the hold on my waist and spins me outward and into the waiting arms of a growling Anubis. I wiggle and move but like before I can't get away, I scream and the Anubis covers my mouth.

"We're not going to dinner, we're going to meet some people in the casino." He nods toward the Anubis and walks forward, making the Anubis continue in step. The Anubis removes his hand to let me breathe, but I use it to speak.

"Why are we going to the casino, I'm starving." Set snickers and stops walking causing the Anubis falter in step and hold a growl in his throat.

"Watch it there cat." He spits venom at the Anubis, "we're going to the casino because I have business to attend to, then we can go eat whatever you like." I nod and we continue forward, but the Anubis moves nowhere. The Anubis barks and Set smiles, "you're right, it would look better if she walked in with me and not in the arms of a guard." The Anubis puts me down and I stumble into the arms of Set.

"What are you talking about, it would look better if I walked in with you?" I swat away the hair out of my face which only makes hate it more. Set groans and looks at me angrily, he sighs and runs his hand through his dark curly hair.

"High Rollers," he says in a whisper, his body shakes and his lips tremble. He doesn't look like the fearsome Egyptian god he's supposed to be, it makes me smile but also fear what we are about to face.

"High Rollers, what does that have to do with me?" I look at Set with questions forming in the back of my mind.

"For insurance, your talents will be needed for 'emergency's'."

"I don't understand."

"You're a weapon with your flame but dressed like that, you look just like my wife."

"Wife. Where is she at?" I cross my arms across my chest, which is in full display, in disbelief. A wife, and here I am as arm candy.

"She's upset with me over something stupid, but looking like that you could be her twin, and she's always at my games." I run my hands through the black hair holding back a scream. "Please, you just have to stand in the back and if anything goes wrong, you just burn those men to a crisp."
