Jesse paced the terminal, playing Ethan's livestream in her headphones as she fought back panic.

BlankGameplays was back.

She looked at the delays board again, where her flight was listed with a three-hour delay. She shook her head, anxious. Three hours of waiting, and then a two hour flight? She could practically drive back in that time.

Jesse froze.

"Get better virus protection," she snapped at the flight attendant, dropping her ticket as she stormed out of the terminal. Jesse rolled her shoulders, speedwalking towards the exit.

The automatic doors were jammed shut. Blue sparks showered down from the control box nearby.

"You think you're so clever, don't you?" Jesse muttered to herself, shouldering the doors open. As she kept walking, stomping the fast food vendors, their signs blinkered, flashed blue, and even spewed sparks. The moving sidewalk froze with a horrible grating noise, causing pedestrians and employees alike to freeze or even bolt out of the terminal in panic.

Jesse, on the other hand, kept walking and locked her jaw. She swung her backpack around her so that it hung off her stomach, unzipping it as she went. From there, she slid out her laptop, shut it off- and dropped it promptly into a trash can. She doubted Blank had a strong enough connection to the airport computers to actually have taken root there. If he had really followed her to San Francisco, there was only one way he had hitched the ride.

"Follow me now, bitch," she snarled into the mic on her phone. The screen flashed blue, spitting garbled ringtones at her. "That's what I thought," she hissed as she held down the power button. Then, she hurled the phone into the garbage with the laptop. She even abandoned her charging cord.

Jesse stormed out of the malfunctioning airport and got a cheap black rental car. Once inside, she tapped on the radio, fiddled with the lights, and even adjusted her seat compulsively.

Everything was running smoothly. Not a glitch to be found.

Jesse floored it, tires squealing as she shot like a bullet back towards home.
