My Decission

“Kath, you don’t deserve such thing” julia said as tears about to fall her eyes.

“your father should let you decide with your life” Julia pout as she gave Kathryn a pity look.

She really can’t understand how a father would force his own child to something as extreme as marriage. For the short period of time she had been friends with Kathryn she have treated her already as a sister.

Julia’s POV: “Kath don’t deserve to be trap in this kind of situation. And I honestly think that she look good with Daniel.”

Julia lets out a sigh. She lift her head and look at Kath. Kath just gave her a force smile.

Again Julia sigh.

“Kathryn  do you know how important this is?! How could you take this so lightly?”

Julia starts to shout as she get frustrated with Kath’s expression.

“You are still young to think of marriage and marriage can’t work out without LOVE. Don’t you wanna know how it feels to be happy just being next to the one you love? Kath, please don’t deprive your self of your own happiness”

Julia’s eyes was full of determination tears are already flowing from her eyes.

“Juls…” Kath hugs her.

“I also want to know how it feels to be in love” Kath said in a low voice.

Kath kept on thinking about her conversation with Julia. Falling in love and finding happiness was every girls dream. She really wanted to experience it. The thought kept on running in her mind as she reaches her home. She opens the door and notice that the house was unusually dark.

Kath's POV: “that’s weird dad usually at home by this time”

As Kath turns on the light she saw her unconscious father laying on the floor.

“Dad?! Dad!” Kath rush to him as tears started rushing from her eyes.

Kathryn is so scared looking at her sleeping father lying in the hospital bed. She just had done talking with the doctor. She just can’t accept the fact that she was about to loose the most important person in her entire life. She can’t remember how she able to bring her father to the hospital. Up until now she is still trembling she was so afraid to loose him.

“Kath” Kathryn’s dad in a weak voice.

“Dad” Kathryn  quickly move close to him. She held his hand tightly for him to realize her presence. “I’m here”

“I’m sorry” her dad pause for a moment. “I didn’t mean to force you to a marriage. It is not only because of the family name that I insisted about the engagement but most especially because I want to be assured that someone will take care of you before I leave all I wish is for your happiness.” Tears started to form from his eyes.

“Dad” Kathryn couldn’t kept her tears from flowing as she remember her confrontation with her father and how she tries to avoid her in the past.

“Your happiness is far more important to me. If you really despise the idea of marriage you…”

“No dad. I’ve decided” kathryn said as she look at her father’s eyes.

“I’m going to get MARRIED”
