Enrique was listening to his ipod in his room when his father came to him.

Enrique didn’t bother to look at him; he already had an idea on what his

about to say.

Enrique’s POV: “here we go again… Even though I’m very much willing

to spend my entire life with Gui gui. I still don’t want to make it easy on him”

“I’ve overheard your conversation with Gui gui and I have thought about

your situation…” his father pause for a few second as if thinking of the right

words to say.

“And I guess your right; we shouldn’t force you into something like this”

“What?!” Enrique can’t believe what he just heard. He thought that his ears were playing tricks on him. His father can’t possibly serious.

“You and Gui gui were young and I’m quite sure you would meet someone both

of you would like even though I still love to see the two of you together.

Since you’re against it that much I don’t think the agreement should push through”

It takes a few second before Enrique finally process every words his father said.

Meet someone?! Kath’s image with DJflash in his mind. He felt mix

emotion fear, disappointment, distress. He’s father’s every word were like sharp

knives tearing his world apart.

“No!” Enrique shouts in his objection.

His father was stun he could sense the fear in Enrique's eyes. He never seen his

son look so desperate before.

“Dad… please”

“Wang zi don’t tell me you’re…”

“I – I can’t afford to loose her. Not now – not ever… Please” Enrique's voice was

low more like a whisper but its very clear. You could hear conviction in his every

word.

“I know she has her own reason on accepting this arrangement; and I know it is

far from Love but… this is my only chance just to be with her. My only chance

to show her how important she is”

Enrique felt like his knees turned to jelly.

He never imagines anything like this to happen.

The Enrique in front of him is

not the same as the self centered and stubborn son he once knew.

“Are you sure of your decision?”

“I don’t think I have any choice… I love her. And beggars like me can’t be choosers”

Enrique lets out a bitter smile.

The father just can’t help but pity his son and hope for the better.
