"I can't believe we've finally made it to Ba Sing Se." Katara says as she looks out the window to see the huge city. She looks back at Aang as he looks out the window with a saddened expression, she touches his arm and he looks at her. "We're going to find him Aang." She says. "But it's such a big city." He answers barely looking at her. "The city is big Aang but you have a strong connection with Appa." Shinta says looking towards him and continues. " We'll find him soon Aang I promise." He smiles when the train comes to a stop, they exit the train and walk off when Shinta senses a presence behind them. "Theirs someone behind us." Shinta mumbled as he slowly turned to see a woman with a creepy smile on his face. "Hello, I'm Joo Dee welcome to Ba Sing Se." She says very politely. "You must be the avatar, and your friends are Toph,Katara,Sokka and Shinta. I am here to show you around our wonderful city and then show you your new home." "Ok then well it's nice to meet you we need to see the earth king we have very important information about the fire nation that he needs to know." Sokka says as he holds up the papers he took from the library. "Let's get going she says and begins leading them to a carriage. "Didn't she hear what I just said?" Sokka says angrily. "It's called being handled get used to it." Toph says with a sigh. The gang finally make it to there home and they start getting settled in. "It's so different as it was all those years ago but this house is still the same..." Shinta says as he looks down at his feet. "What are you talking about?" Aang asked. "Remember how I said I was an assassin and I killed top government officials in the earth kingdom...?" He says looking up towards them as they all nod. "There was a small party planned in this house a few generals had gotten together to celebrate there soon victory from stopping the fire nation from entering the city......I was sent in with a disguise......when they we're all drunk and tired I took my chance and I......" he drifts off remembering the event. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Blood splattered the wall as the first victim slid down the wall after his head had been removed from his body. "I-I-Its the fire lords assassin! Attack!" one of them yelled as he went to use his earthbending to kill the kid as he made his way closer his hands were severed from his body, he began to scream Shinta turned around with lightning speed and cut off the top part of the generals head. The other two remaining generals tried to run when he quickly caught up to them and sliced them in half. "Those who are an enemy of my nation are an enemy of mine." His voice held no emotion as he wiped some blood off of his cheeks and left the gruesome scene of the crime in the cover of the night. The next morning he returned to see Dai Lai officials carrying out the bodies but he noticed a family made up of a mother, a daughter, and a younger boy were trying to follow one of the bodies that were being carried out. "I must've killed there father......" he says to himself very quietly as he turned to leave to prepare for another order from the fire lord. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The horrified look on there faces when the kids learned that there had been a murder here and that they had been traveling with the murderer. Shinta looks away and sighs. "The times aren't completely different from back then but the fire nation stopped using assassins a while ago they mostly rely on spies now." He says looking back down and then looking back up at them. "I'm sorry for telling you this maybe it's best if I leave." He begins to walk towards the door quickly. "......w-wait..." Aang says causing him to stop. "Like you said that was in the past, you told us that you had changed. I believe that you changed and your making up for your past." Aang says waiting for Shinta to turn and face them. "I know but all of you are still kids and you've never seen the much darker sides of this war......I have blood on my hands and no matter how many times I clean them I can still see it covering them." He says turning towards them his hands shaking slightly. "We know your past is dark but we still trust you." Katara says walking up next to Aang. "Yeah we trust you." Toph says smirking a bit. "I know you guys trust me but still it's best if I go......" Shinta says and opens the door. "I can't stand to be here I'm sorry......" he says and quickly leaves and shuts the door. Aang sighs and looks back at his friends. "Let's just give him some time alone he'll come back." Katara says. "Or maybe he's going to go to the fire lord to tell him of our plans." Sokka mumbles but Katara was able to here him. "Sokka why can't you trust Shinta." She says with a slight hint of anger in her voice. "He was close to the fire lord that he even was allowed to hang around with his kids and both of them are after us, who says the fire lord didn't send him to learn how to take us all down?" Sokka yells, both siblings glaring at each other but Aang gently pushes them away from each other. "You both shouldn't fight. Look I know it's hard for all of us to trust him but I know he's changed I can tell, he's not like who he was in the past." Aang says calmly looking back in between the two siblings. "I'm with twinkle toes on this one." Toph says which sort of shocks them. "The way he acts sometimes is like he's hiding something but it's not something that would hurt us but would hurt him, I'm guessing it has to deal with Sunako." She says and leans up against a wall. "I could be wrong but other whys he's quite truthful." She finishes off her sentence looking towards them. "Toph's right Sokka he has a sword that was created by spirits that believed he had repented for his past." Aang says. "Fine.........so what now?" Sokka ask looking towards the door. "We continue searching for Appa." Aang answers. "That's one of the main reasons we came here......To find Appa." He says with a hint of worry in his voice over his lost friend. ~~~~~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zuko and Iroh are working at the tea house when a familiar customer walks in which shocks them both but they quickly hide it. "A table for one please." they hear the customer say. As they sit down he notices them and smiles. After he finishes drinking his tea he notices a note wrapped around the cup and he reads it. "Meet us outside near the fountain." He reads to himself and puts the note away into his kimono and leaves, he waits an hour when the tea shop closes and goes to where the fountain is. "Well it's nice to see you two again." He says seeing the exiled prince and his general uncle. "It's nice to see you again to Shinta." Iroh answers and smiles back while Zuko glares. "Why are you glaring at me Zuko?" He ask looking towards him. "You betrayed my father." He says still glaring at him. "Don't start your sister already gave me an earful of that talk." He walks closer to the pair and sighs. "I had my reasons to betray you all." He says calmly looking down. "I had my own personal reasons to do it and I'm sorry if I hurt you." He finishes saying as he touches Zuko's shoulder. "Well it's nice to know that your alive Shinta. My brother told me you had been executed." Iroh says with happiness in his voice , Shinta turns to face him and removes his hand from Zuko's shoulder. "I'm not dead yet, by Azula's way of thinking." He smiles quite cheerfully as Iroh gets a look at Shinta's inner child that had been snuffed out when he worked for his brother. He smiles a little knowing that the murderer that was inside him was disappearing. ~~~~~~~~~~Timeskip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shinta walks back to the house his friends were staying at, it was night and when he entered the home no one was there but he notices the paper about the birthday party for the earth kings bear. "Well I guess they went to the party...I should join them but I need a disguise." He says and looks around and finds a few things to create a high class outfit.

"Now let's go head to that party." He says quickly making his way to the palace with a forgotten invite he found on his way there.
