The fool known as the Earth king

The gang are flying back to the Earth Kings palace to tell him of the war as they all hang onto Appa for dear life.
"You know I'm really hoping the Earth king has a spar saddle we could use because I'm about to fly off!" Shinta yells trying his best to stay on.
"I agree!" Toph yells back as she too hangs onto Appa for dear life. Rocks begin to be thrown at them.
"I guess our small invasion begins now." Shinta says as they land and prepare to fight. Aang earthbends a group of guard away as they begin to make there way to the palace. Him and Toph begin using there earthbending to push them back while Shinta,Sokka, and Katara take down the few that get back up apologizing along the way. As two groups of guards use the statues of badgermoles to stop them Toph quickly makes a shield to protect, Katara runs out and attacks them. When they reach the stair Toph turns into a ramp causing the guards on them to slide down as her and Aang use it as an elevator to get up the ramp.
"I swear we're on your guys side." Shinta hears Sokka say shortly followed by a quick sorry.
A few minutes pass when they defeat all of the guards, Sokka finally finds the big fancy door that leads to the throne room, he goes to kick it down but fails but when he tries to push it down Aang sighs and blows it down.
"Hey a little warning next time." Sokka yells too Aang as he quickly gets up and they all stand before the Earth king with Long Feng and his Dai Li at the ready.
"We need to talk to you." Aang calmly says.
"There here to over throw you." Long Feng says looking towards the king.
"We're on your side please just listen to us." Sokka says when the king stands up and beings to point out everything that they have done wrong so far.
"Now if your on my side then drop your weapons." He says quite angrily, when they do the Dai Li arrest them with there arms pinned behind there backs.
"Make sure the avatar and his friends never see the light of day again." Long Feng smirks as he looks down towards them knowing he's won until.
"Wait your the avatar?" The Earth king ask as he points towards Sokka.
"No I'm not but he his." He answers as he tilts his head towards Aang who gets out of the rock cuffs for a few seconds to show it's him he was talking about.
"There enemies of the state your highness." Long Feng says with slightly gritted teeth, the king was going to answer until Bosco walks over to Aang and licks him.
"Bosco seems to like him I'll hear what they have to say." The Earth king says as Long Feng visibly scowls.
After the whole telling the Earth king about the war and the conspiracy and showing him Long Feng had in fact been bitten by Appa that proves a bit of what they are saying the Earth king decides to have them show proof of the war and conspiracy.
They reach Lake Laogai to find the secret base had been destroyed.
"Oh come on wait no still got my positive attitude." Sokka says trying to stay calm.
"Long Feng was right this was a waist of time." The Earth king says as he begins walking away with his guards following him closely.
"Wait this only proves the conspiracy more." Sokka begs.
"If you have no other proof to show me then I'm heading back to the palace." He answers glaring back at him. As the the group try to think of something else to tell him about the war Shinta stops him.
"There's a drill outside of the outer wall that was meant to break through to get to your city." Shinta says quickly.
"No Earth king has ever been to the outer wall now if you excuse me I have no more time for this utter nonsense." The Earth king answers back but Sokka quickly makes his way over with a bargain that he knew the king couldn't refuse.
"You can ride on Appa~" he says smirking causes get the king to look back with the same smirk on his face.
As they reach the outer wall Aang points out the drill as Sokka tells him of the drill. When they land Lobg Feng tries to explain the issue away but it was to late he had now seen the truth and makes the Dai Li arrest him.
"Looks like Long Feng is Long Gone." Sokka says and begins laughing."Izvestia been waiting to use that one." He finishes laughing as Shinta sighs and looks back down to the drill, with an expression of worry on his face for what could be coming next to take down these walls.
The group now again stand in front of the Earth king in a more respectable way as he looks down having the effects of the situations way upon him.
"I want to thank you young heroes for making me realize the truth, I thought this city was a great utopia was actually a city of fools and me as the king of fools.......we're at was with the fire nation." He says again for the fifth time from when they flew back to the palace.
"Don't think that way your highness Long Feng had fooled you like he had blackmailed us, he is a man of many faces each one made to trick you in a certain way." Shinta says calmly.
"But still a war with the fire nation oh what should I do?" He ask himself when Sokka steps up and tells him the answer to his problem with the plans he has.
"Fine...you have my total support." He says as the gang begin to cheer one of the Earth kings generals walk in with some important information. He leads them to Long Feng's office as he reveals he had been intercepting there letters.
After each one of them get there letters it shocks Shinta when he gets one.
"Shinta Wúyòng it's a letter from someone named Huizhong Wúyòng." The general says as he hands him the letter and begins reading it.
"My uncle needs to show me something of the up most importance." Shinta summarizes the letter to tell the others. They now all sit in Long Feng's office alone.
"I hate to say this but we have to split up." Katara says looking down.
"Split up!? We just got our family back together and now you want us to split up!?" Aang yells.
"Look this guru says he can help you master the avatar state and when the time comes to attack the fire nation you need to be ready." She says looking start into Aang's eyes as he looks down but gets an idea.
"Wait I could drop you guys and Shinta off at where ever you need to be." Aang states happily.
"But one of us need to stay I guess that will be me." Sokka stands up and says when Katara does the same.
"No I'll stay I know how much you want to see dad." She says as Sokka begins to freak out and hug her telling her how much of a great sister she is.
With the departing groups all packs up the kings bids them farewell as they all say there goodbyes.
"I'll miss you guys." Toph says trying her best to hide the large amount of sadness in her voice.
"We'll all miss each other but we'll see each other again soon I promise you all that." Shinta says as they pull away from there group hug. The boys begin climbing onto Appa when Sokka hears the king say something about the Kiyoshi warriors.
"Did you just say Kiyoshi warriors?" He ask them.
"Well yes we did." The king answers.
"We know then there very loyal and great fighters." Sokka says smiling remembering Suki.
"Well we shall treat them as honored guest." the king answers as the bison takes off and they wave goodbye.
"Well this is turning out great we're gonna take down the fire nation, I get to see my dad and suki is waiting for me when I get back." Sokka says excitedly.
"Yeah girls are waiting for us." Aang replies blushing on how he almost confessed his feelings towards Katara.
"Yep you guys have girls waiting for you when you get back." Shinta says with a bit of depression behind his words which causes Sokka to remember the name Sunako.
"So are you ever going to tell us who Sunako is to you?" Sokka ask him with an arched eyebrow. Shinta sighs and looks down and hugs his sword closer to him.
"She was............she was my wife..." he says remembering his past with her.
"Your what!?" Aang and Sokka both yell in surprise.
"You had a wife!?" Aang yells still trying to figure out how.
"How old are you!?"Sokka yells trying to figure out how old he was.
"Older than you but younger than most adults." He answers Sokka's question and looks towards him, before Sokka could ask again to get a straight answer Aang asks him a question.
"So how was she like?" Aang asked looking back towards him.
"She was kind and sweet she looked after me when I didn't. I remember she was also soft spoken and loved nature..." he begins getting quieter. "I miss her so much......" he mutters.
"Sorry I asked..." Aang says as he looks back and focuses on getting to the bay.

After dropping off Sokka it was now only Aang and Shinta left.
"So uuummm how's your uncle like?" Aang ask trying to start up a conversation.
"He's a stiff but he's actually really kind if you get to know him." He answers. "Anyway do you think this guru will help you?" Shinta ask.
         "Hopefully...I mean I need to know how to control the avatar state or I'll lose control again like I did in the desert." He says with a hint of worry in his voice. They finally reach the place Shinta's uncle wanted to meet him at.
        "Well I'll see you later Aang hopefully you have control over the avatar state." Shinta says as he begins to walk away but stops and turns towards Aang as he is about to leave on Appa. "Don't let your emotions control you Aang they could end up hurting you." He says as if to warn him of something.
        "Oh umm ok well goodbye Shinta." Aang says as he flys off, Shinta sighs and waves goodbye until he is to far to see.
~~~~~Meanwhile in the Earth kingdom~~~~
        A Dai Li agent delivers Long Feng his meal which is quite extravagant to prison standards.
         "The guards and the generals might be loyal to the king but the Dai Li are still loyal to you Libg Feng, sir." The agent says as Long Feng smirks while eating his meal creating a plan to take over the kingdom.
      Around the same time the Kiyoshi warriors arrive at the palace, as the king greets them three very familiar faces and a new fourth one could be made out behind the face paint. The princess of the fire nation is now in the Earth kingdom with her friends Ty Lee and Mai but who is the newcomer in her group?
