Madison's POV:
"That mysterious man from last night...he looked familiar, did he not?" Hamilton was in his "room" in the attic writing a thank you for inviting them to the ball to the royal family. While he was doing that, Jefferson took the chance to rant about 'the man who randomly showed up and stole his spotlight'. "Apparently the Prince and Princesses spent all night doing research on the man! What if he takes away my chance at becoming royalty! I don't even know who he is and I already hate him!" At this point, Thomas was seething.

Burr walks in, some book in hand. He gives James a quizzical look and a head tilt in Jefferson's direction. James shakes his head, he knows not to interrupt one of Jefferson's rants so he just sits down on the couch next to Madison. Aaron leans over and whispers in his ear, "It's better than when you two attempt to make out in secret. Trust me, it's not that secretive." That earned him a smack to the head. Just because James is made of pure cinnamon doesn't mean he can't hurt a bitch.

"AND they'll be-"

"Thomas. Enough. Is there anyway to make you shut up?" James gets up and goes over to Jefferson, putting a hand on his cheek. Thomas looks nervous for a second and tenses up. They usually don't even touch in the littlest bit unless they're completely secluded. It's not like they're afraid of others finding out and being judged, everyone knows that none of them are related but everyone also knows that King Henry made being LGBTQ+ illegal. In fact, that's why Jefferson is so set on making his way into the royal family, if one of us married one of the Princesses then he believes they could convince them to persuade their father. Preferably Burr would marry but even if either of them had to marry, their plan was to divorce after it would be legal to be officially together.

James gets that he's nervous that the boy from last night would take away one of the Princesses and make it harder for one of them to marry in BUT HE NEEDS TO CALM THE FUCK DOWN. And James was prepared to shut him up no matter what it takes. I wonder what he's going to ask for.

"Help me find out who that guy was." Okay, then. It'll be hard but it'll stop his ranting. "Can uh..." he looks nervous again, "Can I kiss you now?" Oh. Right. We never touch unless something more is coming. I suppose it's to be expected...not that I'm complaining. With a nod of James' head and the slam of a door from Burr leaving, Thomas leans down and passionately kisses him. It's not rough or needy, it was full of love though. And James knew that love was all his no matter what happens with the plan.
