John's POV:
"Are we there yet?"

"No, John. Because you wanted to be fancy and take a carriage over a limo."

"You. Have. No. Right to talk, Laf. Besides they're so long and probably would freak him out with how different it is than he was used to." Wait...OMYGOD NO WAIT...!

...And, of course, that's when Peggy chose to pipe up, "Well, he didn't seem to have a problem riding in one last night...I take that back...don't. You. Dare."

Lafayette turns toward Herc, who were across from the other two, and smirks, "THAT'S WHAT HE SAID!" Wow...they even did a gay version...

"BT-dubs we're here, now. So stop your complaining and go court him...or whatever the hell your planning on doing," John's pretty sure Peggy only came to destroy the little confidence he had. He doesn't want Alex to marry him because he's a prince and he's...not so rich..., John wants Alex to marry him 'cause he loves him. Which is why he's trying not to be fancy, as Laf said. John's in casual clothing, the only royal thing on him is a toned-down version of the heavy-ass, head-pinching, over the top crown that father makes him wear during formal events. Honestly he prefers this one, not only is it more his style, not to mention less painful, but it also makes him look hotter.

Knock knock

A nice house, but then John remembered the household it belonged to and immediately felt horrible. Knowing Jefferson, he probably makes Alex sleep in the attic like some kind of slave or something. No one deserves to be treated that way...ESPECIALLY not my baby.

After about two minutes of waiting the door creaks open. Through the crack he sees the face he missed so much since that magical night. Alex seems to study John for a minute before his eyes go wide and he opens the door fully with a sweeping bow.

"Your Highness..." Your adorable-ness.

"Hamilton."

"H-how did you know my name?" His eyes get even wider, John didn't even know that was possible.

"You think I wouldn't look up the love of my life?" John smirks, smooth. Alex is left speechless and he takes that opportunity to continue, "Alex,...when you walked into that ballroom...my heart was beating as rapidly as..." He's a nerd...what would woo a nerd?..., "Ya know what, screw it. I'm not good with words I'm just gonna tell ya how I feel. Your amazing and I completely fell for you that night. And I understand this is fast but willyoumarryme?"

"Wha-?"

He sighs and takes a step closer, "I asked if you would marry me?"

Alex's POV:
Alex never cared for obeying authority but is he even allowed to say no to this? I mean, John is really hot, but he just met the young Prince the other night, I mean who marries someone they just met?, and doesn't really know much about him. Besides, he's royalty and Alex didn't want to be associated with the King and how he runs the country. Speaking of which, didn't King Henry make being gay illegal. So why is Prince John here?

"Didn't your father make LGBTQ+ illegal? Is this a test?"

"What? No. My dad doesn't even know I'm doing this." John proceeds to explain his plan on becoming King and changing the way the country's run. He couldn't help but think of how their ideas for this country were so similar. I could be the one who makes the change we need. Plus if John has these ideas too then we might end up together anyways. It doesn't hurt that he's cute too.

"Yes...I will marry you..."

"YEEEEEESSSSSS!" Then John's mouth is on Alex's and he doesn't even think about stopping him. It was short lived but for a first kiss it was amazing. I got to say this is probably the best decision I've ever made. There was also this feeling, it's a stronger version of the feeling he had when they were dancing. It was like his stomach was doing acrobatics while on fire...I've heard about stuff like this before...
