Marco's POV

I was being dragged by my mother and I noticed she stopped abruptly in her steps, I look at her for a moment as I wanted to ask her what happened but star interrupted me with a smile "So what do we do now?" She said softly, I scoffed and rolled my eyes "There are many things here, but it's a waste of time when its spent with you" I said folding my arms. Star looked confused, my Mom suddenly stepped in-

Mrs Diaz's POV

'How am I even gonna make this work? They keep fighting!' I thought as I sighed

Its time for adult intervention
"O-okay lets stay calm and go have fun now okay? I just stopped because I have to buy tickets" said with a nervous smile on my face.
Both of them huffed and turned away from each other

Welp.
This is gonna be tough.

"Okay kids you stay here while I get the tickets, No fighting till then!" I exclaimed as I walked away from the angry duo to the ticket counter, I paid for everything and came back to Star and Marco glaring at each other..another fight I suppose, The bickering married couple.

Okay Diaz, Cut the ice!

"Hey that roller coaster looks fun!" I pointed towards a huge roller coaster in the background "Sure but do you think this preppy girl will enjoy anything?" Marco said smugly while putting hands in his pockets
"ExCUSE ME" Star's voice was raised and Marco flinched a little" GEEZ DON'T SCARE ME Y-"

I laughed nervously "LETS GO GUYS!" I shouted with a forced smile and took their hands while I run towards the entrance. Marco bit his lip and got the message, Star looked like she did too.I released their hands and smiled at them "Please don't fight so often, We're here to have fun!" They both looked at each other, Then looked at me and looked down in disappointment.

"We're sorry" Both said in sync.
I laughed "Well, Make it up to me while having fun" They both smiled "Okay, We will!" Star beamed with a smile, Marco glanced at her and gave a sight smile "Yeah.."

I walked towards the roller coaster and showed our wristbands to the employee who stood in front of the ride, We were accepted and walked in.

Stars POV

So this is what roller coasters look like! They look even close when I am right next to it. I thought examining the ride..
I haven't seen anything like this on mewni, earth is so surprising and so weird.
it looks pretty high too, meh I deal with monsters..I'll be fine.

"Okay starc- I mean star go sit with Marco" Mrs Diaz said pointing to the seat which Marco was already sitting next too, He just rolled his eyes and looked away. I pouted angrily but then remembered I should behave "But what about you?" I turned to her and asked. She smiled "At least sOmeoNe as the decency to ask me how I am doing!" She exclaimed and at was obviously a jab to Marco, He seemed to have heard this and stuck his tongue out at her.

She didn't see that though, Thank god, he'd be a deadman if she did.
"I will sit in the back, you both are kids after all so enjoy the fun" Mrs Diaz simply said as she went to the back seat.

I glanced at him and sighed, Well I got no choice anyway. I made my way to the seat which he was next to and plopped myself down. I don't even wanna look at his dumb face right now.
