KATE POV

After Karen died, we stopped for a few days, maybe 3 or 4. Abby was the most distraught. She just sat by the fire and stared at the flames. The only time she got up was to go to the bathroom tent. Abby slept when she was tired, otherwise she was sitting doing nothing.

One day, Abby got up and talked to Thalia in the 'big tent'. All the hunters were listening in to the conversation. All we heard was:

Thalia- you can't

Abby- stop me

Thalia- how many years have you been a hunter?

Abby- like 2 or 3. Why does that matter?

Thalia- DON'T LEAVE!!!!!

Then, Abby and Thalia walked out of the tent. All the hunters tried to act natural but, Thalia didn't care, she took some rope took Abby by the hands, and tied her to a Adolfo. "Hey!" Abby complained. "What the heck!" I said, why did you tie her up???"

"She wanted to leave the hunters, I needed her to stay to talk some sense into her, just because she's dead doesn't mean you have to leave. Believe me Abby I know what you're going through"

"NO YOU DON'T!!!!" Abby interrupted. "Yes I do" Thalia said calmly "when Zoë died I wanted to just curl up in a ball and die, but I went through it, I survived and so can you."
