THALIA POV

When Abby told me she wanted to leave the hunters, I tied her to a wolf who was tied to a tree (what did you expect me to do?) "Hunters," I addressed my fellow hunters "we must discuss an important matter. Abby," I pointed to her struggling to get untied from Adolfo "would like to leave us because of Karen's death."

Every eye turned to Abby, who was now trying to use her teeth to gnaw through the rope. As soon as she realized everyone was looking at her, she blushed. "We will have a vote" I said. Abby mumbled "even if you vote I'll still leave."

"Those who think Abby should go raise your hand, and don't raise a wolf's paw," I said. "Wait" Kate stepped forward and continued "Abby, what will leaving do? You'll still remember Karen, if you leave, all that will happen is you will have lost some of your only friends. We know what you're going through, let us help"

Abby looked at Kate meaningfully, and Abby started to cry. Not a sobbing but like us when Karen died, then all of the hunters started to cry, even me but, I untied Abby first. "I'll- I'll stay stay with you" she mumbled, "I see what Kate was saying, she's really smart."
