"so nahee, what school do you go to?" shihyun asked, when there was a silence.

"i go to mirae high school. seonho's my junior there too." nahee said. a look of shock passed on shihyun's face momentarily then he broke out in a grin.

"me too! we're actually moving here from changwon and i'll be going there too! maybe my mum asked yours." he shrugged, a wide grin still on his face.

"really? we'll be in the same year, since we're the same age and-" nahee was cut off when the sound of someone tapping their knife against a glass was heard.

everyone in the room turned towards where the sound was coming from. it was the bride's brother.

"can we all stand? for better or worse, a toast! to the bride and groom." he held up his glass as everyone stood up.

"for butter or worse, a toast to the bride and groom." shihyun leaned towards nahee and whispered. nahee nearly choked from hearing that terrible pun.

"shihyun!" she hissed before taking a sip of her drink and glaring at him.

when they had taken their seats, she raised an eyebrow at him.

"i didn't expect you to be the pun kind of guy." she said as she had already pegged him as the more quiet type of person.

"i can't help being this hilarious." shihyun shrugged.

before he could continue his sentence, he pointed towards the stage where the bride and groom were cutting the three-tier wedding cake.

"the cake is so beautiful, im in tiers."

nahee stared at him with an unimpressed look on her face.

"okay sorry. im sorry for being both handsome and funny." shihyun said, waving a hand slightly.

"i'm not going to disagree with you on that. oh and how about we exchange numbers? since we're going to be school mates and all?" nahee slid her phone towards him.

shihyun took out his phone and passed it to her in return. right after they exchanged phone numbers, seonho returned to the table with a small box of mints.

he offered them to the two older ones. nahee looked at them suspiciously.

"please assure me that you didn't steal these or poison them." she said.

"noona, they're giving them out at the dessert table." he said, pointing a finger towards that area.

shihyun took a mint from the box in seonho's hands and looked at it, a cheeky smirk creeping onto his face.

"you know, i think the bride and groom are really perfect for each other. or should i say, they're mint to be."

nahee and seonho looked at each other and sighed collectively.
