Let Me Help You

Chapter Six

Kihyun had learned not to cry in front of Jiseok because it only made things worse for him. As he's sitting in the car on the way to his house he's trying hard not to cry. He knows that he's going to get beat when they get to his house and he doesn't want to make it any worse than what it will be. 

"What did I tell you about getting another sweater?!" Jiseok asked Kihyun.

"It was a gift from a friend." Kihyun said quietly but still loud enough for Jiseok to hear.

"I don't care if it was a gift! I told you I didn't want to see anymore sweaters!" Jiseok shouted.

"I'm sorry. I won't wear it when I'm around you. I promise just please don't get rid of them." Kihyun said as he looked at Jiseok with a pleading look on his face. 

"I don't care what you promise! I told you not to get another one and you got one anyway!" Jiseok shouted as he looked at Kihyun then the road again.

"I told you it was a gift from a friend. I wasn't going to get it but he told me he wasn't going to take no for an answer. He made me try it on and told me that he didn't care what I said. If I didn't go with it he would have grabbed it himself." Kihyun said to try and convince Jiseok not to get rid of his sweaters.

"I won't get rid of them now but next time I will not hesitate. Understand?" Jiseok said.

"Yes." Kihyun said looking down at his hands in his lap.

Jiseok didn't say anything the rest of the way and Kihyun didn't dare try and talk. He knew that if he said something Jiseok may change his mind. He would do anything to keep Jiseok happy even if it meant staying with someone he's starting to hate. Kihyun was so deep in thought that he didn't notice that they were in his drive way.

"Get out of the car bitch." Jiseok said as he turned the car off and got out. 

Kihyun said nothing as he unbuckled and got out as fast as he could. He grabbed his bag and ran up to his front door. He unlocked it and walked in but before he could turn around and close the door Jiseok walked in behind him. Kihyun took his hand off the door and ran to his room. He closed and locked the door while tossing his back across the room. He then walked over to his connected bathroom and locked himself in there. He slid to the floor by the tub and started to cry. He heard Jiseok's footsteps go up the stairs and heard him start banging on the bedroom door. 

"Get out here bitch!" Jiseok shouted.

Kihyun sat there starting to sob uncontrollably. He was so scared and didn't know what to do. He then felt his phone start to buzz and pulled it out of his pocket. He looked at his phone to see the caller ID. He barely saw the name before he answered the call.

"H-hello." Kihyun said a little quietly so Jiseok can't hear him.

"Kihyun are you okay?" Changkyun said.

"No, I'm so scared. Please help me." Kihyun said as he heard Jiseok start pounding on the door again.

"I'm on my way just hang on."  Changkyun said as he then hung up.

"GET OUT HERE NOW!" Jiseok shouted.

Kihyun curled up as small as he could and tired to hold back his tears. The pounding on his bedroom door stopped for a couple of seconds before it started up again. He started to pound louder and faster. Kihyun was now shaking uncontrollably and started to sob loudly. He couldn't hold back his tears anymore as he tried in vain to stop them from flowing. He was wiping at his eyes to stop the tears form coming but they just wouldn't stop. He was trying to drown out the sound of the pounding so he started to sing. He was so lost in singing that he didn't notice the pounding stopped. He then felt his phone buzz but was to scared to even try to grab it. 

"Kihyun it's me! Let me in!" Changkyun shouted from outside Kihyun's bedroom door. 

Kihyun stopped singing and got up of the floor. He cautiously walked over to the bathroom door and unlocked it. He then walked over to his bedroom door and opened it slowly. He peeked out and saw Changkyun looking at him worriedly. 

"Kihyun are you okay?" Changkyun asked.

"I'm fine now. Thank you so much." Kihyun said as he threw himself into Changkyun's arms and started to cry again. 

"It's okay, I've got you know. You're safe now." Changkyun said as he wrapped his arms around Kihyun and let him cry. 

Kihyun spent the next couple of minutes crying into Changkyun's shoulder. Changkyun just let him cry as long as he wanted. Kihyun ended up falling asleep in Changkyun's arms. With as little movement as possible he grabbed his phone out and texted the others to get over to Kihyun's house as fast as they could. He looked next to them to see the unconscious Jiseok and wondered what he's going to do with him now. He picked Kihyun up and walked over to his bed and laid him down. He pulled the covers over him and left the room closing the door slightly. He grabbed Jiseok and walked downstairs. He put him on the couch and at down watching him to make sure he doesn't  wake up and try to hurt Kihyun. A couple of minutes pass and he hears a knock on the door. He gets up and walks over to it and opens it to find all of their friends. 

"What's wrong?" Wonho asked.

"Why did you tell us to get over here as fast as possible?" Hyungwon asked before Changkyun could answer.

"I called Kihyun to make sure he got home safely and he sounded like he was crying. I asked him what was wrong and he told me to help him so I got over here as fast as I could. When I got here I could hear shouting and rushed inside. The door was wide open and the shouting was coming from upstairs. I found this jerk pounding on Kihyun's bedroom door shouting for him to get out of there. I knocked him out and got Kihyun to open the door. He launched himself into my arms started to cry and ended up crying himself to sleep. I put him in his bed and left him to keep watch on him." Changkyun said. 

The others kept watch while Changkyun went upstairs to check on Kihyun with Hyungwon. Hyungwon looked over him while he was asleep and frowned at the bruise on his cheek. He then left with Changkyun following him. They walked back downstairs and joined the others.
