Let Me Help You

Chapter Fifteen

Wonho looked up to see Kihyun breathing heavily while Jiseok laid under him with his arms spread out to his sides. Wonho was looking for the knife only to find it thrown towards the front door. Kihyun had tears sliding down his face. Wonho ran over to them while dialing 911. He needed to make sure Kihyun was okay before anything else.

"911 what's your emergency?" The operator asked through the phone.

"We need the police here now! My friend's psycho boyfriend just tried to shoot him!" Wonho said.

"Calm down sir and tell me the address." The operator said.

Wonho proceeded to tell her the address before hanging up and helping Kihyun. He was holding down one of Jiseok's arms while looking at Kihyun with a worried expression. He wanted to ask if he was okay but knew that now wasn't the right time. Soon Wonho heard sirens outside and looked over to see relief on Kihyun's face. He also looked down to see Jiseok was glaring at both of them. The police didn't hesitate to walk into the house and over to them. 

"Are you both okay?" One officer asked.

"I'm okay but I'm not sure about my friend. I'll ask him." Wonho said as the officer nodded and went to help the others with Jiseok. 

Wonho walked over to Kihyun and put a hand on his shoulder. Kihyun flinched a little before he turning around and seeing Wonho. He let out a sigh of relief before Wonho watched as more tears fell from the boys eyes.

"Are you okay?" Wonho asked as he sat them down on the couch.

"Yes and no." Kihyun said as he started wiping at his eyes without success. 

"Do you want to talk about it?" Wonho asked as he put his arm around Kihyun.

"Not right now. I'll want to think about what just happened before I try and talk about it. I fear that I'll break down if I try and talk about it." Kihyun said as he moved closer to Wonho. 

Wonho hugged Kihyun when he heard multiple voices outside. He looked up just as their friends walked through the door and spotted them. They ran to them asking multiple questions before Wonho silenced them. 

"Guys calm down we're both fine." Wonho said as he stood up and let Changkyun sit down to comfort Kihyun. 

Wonho pulled the other four to the side to answer some of their questions. He figured he should answer them now instead of having them wait. He opened his mouth to say something when he heard Kihyun shout in pain. He quickly turned around to see Kihyun holding his side and Changkyun looking at him with worry.

"Kihyun what's wrong?" Wonho asked as he ran over and knelt in front of Kihyun.

"I don't know. Changkyun just wrapped his arm around me and when his hand made contact with my waist it just started to hurt." Kihyun said as he tried to pull his hand away. 

"What happened after you tackled Jiseok?" Shownu asked.

"I was holding the knife and was ready to defend myself if needed when he told me that if he was going down then I was going down with him. He then pulled out a gun and pointed it at me. I threw the knife and started to push his arm down so the gun wasn't pointed at me when he pulled the trigger. I never saw where the bullet went but I didn't feel any pain so I thought it hit a wall." Kihyun explained as he looked down at his hand and saw blood. 

Wonho could see the panic on Kihyun's face as he stared at his hand before moving to lift up his shirt before Wonho reached out and stopped him.

"Kihyun don't look at it." Wonho said.

"Why?" Kihyun said while he looked up at Wonho with fear and panic in his eyes.

"It'll only make you feel worse. Just continue to look at one of us and I'll have Hyungwon look at it." Wonho said.

Kihyun nodded and turned his head to look at Changkyun before Wonho moved his hand and motioned for Hyungwon to come over. Once Hyungwon knelt down Wonho lifted Kihyun's shirt until they saw a bullet hole in his side. Hyungwon turned Kihyun a little bit to see if there was another hole but there wasn't. 

"Kihyun we need to get you to the hospital." Hyungwon said as he helped Kihyun stand up.

"Why? Is something wrong? Is there a bullet in me?" Kihyun said as he started to panic.

"There is but I promise you'll be okay. We just need to get you to the hospital so they can take it out safely." Hyungwon said as he put his arm around Kihyun's shoulder.

Hyungwon with the help of Changkyun calmed Kihyun down and got him to the car before starting the drive to the hospital.

Here's the next chapter! I know I said I would update over the weekend but  I was really tired and got a new phone so I couldn't update. I promise to update within the week.
