Let Me Help You

Chapter Seventeen

After about an hour and a half Kihyun finally got the x-rays done. He was relieved when he was told he didn't need surgery to remove the bullet. He now just had to wait for the nurse to get everything she needed to remove it. While he waited he talked to his friends and played games on his phone. He was in the middle of his game when the nurse walked up and smiled at them. She had a tray of medical supplies in her hands.

"You ready to get that bullet out of you?" She asked as she put the tray down. 

"Is that even a question?" Kihyun said as he smiled back.

~An Hour Later~

Kihyun was walking with his friends to his car and he felt a lot better knowing the bullet was out of his body. As he was walking he felt like someone was watching them. He turned his head to look around them but found no one. He shrugged it off and continued to walk. Once they got back to the car they were all getting in when Kihyun heard someone running up to them. Kihyun turned around just in time to see Jiseok running at them with a kitchen knife in hand.

"I'LL MAKE YOU REGRET LEAVING ME EVEN IF IT MEANS KILLING YOU!" Jiseok yelled as he ran at Kihyun.

Kihyun stood frozen in fear as he watched Jiseok raise the knife and start to bring it down. Kihyun started to brace for the pain of the knife cutting into him but it never came. He opened his eyes to see Changkyun has tackled Jiseok to the ground and was fighting him for control of the knife. 

"Changkyun please just stop fighting him! Let him hurt me! I just want him out of my life even if it means having him hurt me!" Kihyun said as tears welled up in his eyes.

"I will never let him hurt you ever again! I will fight him until the day I die if that's what it will take to protect you!" Changkyun yelled back.

"But I can't let any of you get hurt for me! I won't be able to forgive myself if any of you get hurt trying to protect me! This was my problem and I should have dealt with it myself! If I never got you guys involved then I wouldn't have to worry about you getting hurt for me! I'm not worth all of this pain!" Kihyun said as the tears started to slide down his cheeks.

By now the others have gotten out of the car and were trying to find a way to help Changkyun. Hyungwon and Shownu were also trying to calm Kihyun down. Hyungwon brought Kihyun into a hug when he broke out and ran towards Changkyun and Jiseok.

"I CAN'T LET YOU FIGHT JISEOK! IF YOU GET HURT I WON'T BE ABLE TO LIVE! I LOVE YOU CHANGKYUN AND I CAN'T STAND TO SEE YOU GET HURT!" Kihyun yells as he grabs Changkyun by the back of his shirt and pulls him off of Jiseok.

Kihyun turned around to make sure Changkyun was okay. He then felt a sharp pain in his back. He started to fall to the ground as he watched his friends faces turn to face of horror. He hit the ground as Shownu and Wonho tackled Jiseok to the ground behind him. He watched Changkyun run up to him and was trying to say something but Kihyun couldn't hear him. He watched at Jooheon and Minhyuk go running into the hospital and come back out with security and nurses. He was then lifted onto a gurney and pushed into the hospital for the third time. The entire time Changkyun wouldn't leave his side. He only left Kihyun when he was forced to by the nurses.
