Let Me Help You

Chapter One

Kihyun woke up with pain all over and groaned as he sat up leaning against the headboard. He lifted his shirt to look at his bruises. The bruises from yesterday look worse now that they are completely formed and the ones from two days before have faded a little bit. Kihyun winced as he got out of his bed and walked over to the bathroom. He looked in the mirror to see his eye bruised all over. He frowned knowing that his black eye will take a while to heal. He grabbed the makeup he bought to cover up the bruises that may be seen by his friends. As he was about to start putting it on he heard his doorbell ring. He wondered who it could be seeing as Jiseok never comes over this early. He walked out of his bathroom and to his front door. He looked through the peep hole to see one of his friends. He thought about just walking away from the door and leaving his friend until he has the makeup. As he's trying to back away to go with his plan he hits the table near the door and falls to the floor. He cries out in pain seeing as he bumped the table on a bruise that Jiseok gave him on his hip from kicking him. He can hear his friend's panicked voice through the door and now has no choice but to open the door. He gets up wincing at the pain in the process and opens the door. He's greeted with a worried Changkyun. 

"Kihyun are you all right? I heard you fall and cry out in pain." Changkyun asked Kihyun while looking at him.

"I'm fine. I just hit the corner." Kihyun told him as he looked at the younger.

"What happened to your eye?" Changkyun asked as he took in his black eye. 

"I fell down some stairs and must have hit my eye in the process. I'll be fine." Kihyun said as he waved off Changkyun's hand away. 

"Are you sure? That looks like someone punched you." 

"I'm sure. What did you want?" Kihyun asked him as he leaned on the doorway and tried to hide the pain it caused him. 

"I came to ask if you wanted to hang out with me and the others. We're going to hang out at the mall and then go over to Wonho's place to watch some movies."

"Yeah I'll go just give me a minute to get ready. You can come in and wait if you want." Kihyun said as he moved to the side to let his friend inside.

After Changkyun was inside he closed the door and walked over to his room. He grabbed out an outfit for the day and walked over to his bathroom. He closed the door and started to get changed. He winced as he had to move his upper body a lot. He took one last look at the bruises on his stomach and chest before putting his shirt on. He looked in the mirror to see if any of the bruises other than the one's around his eye were visible. To his luck it was just the one on his eye he would have to cover. He took out everything else he would need to cover up the bruises. He started to cover them up and winced when he pushed to hard on them. Once he was done he looked in the mirror to make sure it looked good. Once he was satisfied he grabbed his dirty clothes and walked back to his room. He threw the clothes in the hamper and grabbed his shoes. He walked out to the living room and sat down on the couch next to Changkyun. He bent over to put on his shoes and winced as he knee's pressed into one of his bruises. 

"Are you okay?" Changkyun asked once he noticed Kihyun wince.

"I'm fine. I'm just sore and have a couple of bruises on my chest from falling down the stairs." Kihyun answered as he finished tying his shoes.

Kihyun stood up from the couch and started to walk towards the door. He looked behind him to see Changkyun following him. He opened the door and waited for Changkyun to walk out before following him and closing the door. He locked it and followed Changkyun to his car. He climbed into the passenger seat and buckled his seat belt. He looked out the window as Changkyun backed out of his driveway and started driving to the mall. 

~At the Mall~

Changkyun found a parking spot and as soon as he was parked Kihyun got out of the car. He walked to the end of the car and waited for Changkyun to get out and join him. Once he was with him they walked together to the entrance of the mall where they were supposed to meet up with the others. The other's soon came into view and Kihyun could see Jooheon wave at them. Changkyun waved back and practically drug Kihyun over to them. 

"Hey guys." Kihyun said as he smiled at his friends.

"Hey Kihyun." Wonho and Hyungwon said together. 

Everyone laughed as they stared at each other with surprised looks. After a little bit of staring they started to laugh. Everyone then started to walk into the mall and look around. Kihyun found a store with some clothes that he really liked and asked if anyone wanted to go in with him. It ended up being all of them and they all found clothes they liked. They went back to the changing rooms to try them on and ended up starting their own fashion show. Once they were done they grabbed the clothes and walked up to the front to check out. They all walked out with at least one bag unless you're Wonho who had like five bags. They continued their walk around the mall making small talk and telling jokes. They would go into a store every now and then and were having a ton of fun. Kihyun was laughing at a joke that Jooheon told when he looked up and saw the one person he didn't want to see at all today. His smile turned into a frown as he watched Jiseok walk up to him and his friends.
