Let Me Help You

Chapter Three

By the time Changkyun and Kihyun got back to the group Jiseok was gone. Kihyun felt relieved that he wouldn't have to deal with him anymore right now. He hoped he wouldn't have to deal with him until tomorrow. He wanted to have time to wear the sweater around the house before Jiseok found out. He didn't know what Jiseok will do once he finds out about the new sweater.

"Hey guys." Changkyun said as they approached the table. 

"Hey, you guys were gone a long time." Shownu said as he looked at the two. 

"Yeah we took a little walk around the mall before we headed to the store." Changkyun said. 

"Kihyun, Jiseok told me to tell you to call him when you get home. He was going to say goodbye but he had to leave before you got back." Wonho said.

"Okay." Kihyun said as he stuck his bag in the one he got early.

"What'd you get?" Hyungwon asked. 

"Nothing you need to know about." Kihyun said as he looked at him.

"Just show us what you got." Minhyuk said as he grabbed for the bags.

Kihyun tried to dodge him as he grabbed for the bags but was to slow. Minhyuk grabbed the bags and pulled out the smaller bag. Kihyun lunged at him to grab the bag back but Minhyuk tossed the bag to Hyungwon before he could get it. It went on being passed between all of them until it got to Changkyun. He looked at Kihyun and mouthed 'I'm sorry' before tossing the bag back to Hyungwon. Kihyun looked at Changkyun with a look of betrayal before he gave out a sigh and gave up. He sat down in a chair and watched as his friends pulled the sweater from the bag. 

"This looks like a nice sweater." Hyungwon said.

"Yeah but you don't wear sweaters that much when we see you." Wonho said as he looked at Kihyun. 

"I don't wear them when we're out because I might see Jiseok. He doesn't like the way sweaters look on me so he tells me not to wear them around him. I wore one once after he told me not to and he threatened to burn all of my sweaters. I tend to wear them when I know I'm going to be at home alone." Kihyun said as he looked at his lap and messed with his hands.

"He was looking at it when we went back to the store and looked like he wanted it. He started to put it back when I walked up and asked him why he wasn't going to try it on and he gave me the same explanation. I told him that if he tried it on and liked it that I would buy it for him and he could tell Jiseok it was a gift." Changkyun said before they started asking any more questions. 

"If you want you can wear it when you get to my house. You could even spend the night so you can wear it for the rest of the day." Wonho said as he smiled at Kihyun.

"You would let me do that?" Kihyun asked looking at Wonho with a surprised look. 

"Yeah you're my friend. I would do anything for you guys. You can call Jiseok from my house if you want to. We can stop by your house and pick up anything you'll need before we head to my house." Wonho said as he got up and hugged Kihyun. 

When he pulled away a smile was on Kihyun's face. He was so lucky to have friends like them. Minhyuk put the sweater back in the bag and handed it to Kihyun. They all then got up and started walking out of the mall and towards their cars. Changkyun and Kihyun got to Changkyun's car before the others got to Wonho's so they told them they would meet at Wonho's house. This gave them enough time to go to Kihyun's house to get what he wants. The car ride to Kihyun's house was mostly quiet. Changkyun would tell a joke couple of minutes but other than that it was silent. They finally reached Kihyun's house and he got out of the car. He walked up to his door and unlocked it. He walked in headed upstairs to his room. He grabbed a backpack that he had laying around and put some extra clothes in it before heading to his bathroom. He grabbed the makeup he would need for tomorrow and anything else he would need in his bathroom. He was pretty sure Wonho would let him take a shower in the morning so he grabbed his shampoo and body wash from the shower. He made sure he had everything before zipping up his bag and walking downstairs. He walked closed and locked his door before getting back into Changkyun's car. Changkyun backed out of the driveway and started on the way to Wonho's house.

"What are you going to do if they ask about the bruises?" Changkyun asked as he looked briefly to Kihyun. 

"I don't know. I haven't thought about that yet." Kihyun responded as he continued to look out the window. 

"I only know about the bruises around your eye but I'm sure there are more. How many more are there?" Changkyun said as he continued driving.

"A couple on my back and about three or four on my arms and stomach." Kihyun said as he started at his hands in his lap. 

"That's a lot for just falling down the stairs. I still think something else happened but I'll wait until you're ready to tell me about it." Changkyun said as he turned the corner to Wonho's street. 

They parked in the driveway and got out of the car. They walked up to the door and knocked on the door. A few seconds later the door opened to revel Shownu. 

"Hey guys! Welcome to the party!" He said with a smile on his face as he moved to the side to let them in. 

"Well it wouldn't be a party without out me." Changkyun said as he walked in with Kihyun following behind him.

"That's not true. I'm here and we all know I'm the life of the party." Jooheon said as he smiled at Changkyun. 

Kihyun just laughed as he put his stuff by the couch and sat down. He pulled out his phone and sent a quick text to Jiseok explaining that he would be spending the night at Wonho's and he wouldn't be home until tomorrow afternoon. He waited a couple of minutes and checked his phone for a message. There was no message from Jiseok. Kihyun guessed he was just busy and may not respond. He put his phone back in his pocket and watched as his friends fought over what movie to watch.
