Kihyun woke up to the sun shinning in his eyes. He grimaced and sat up stretching in a way as to not hurt his back. He rubbed his eyes and started to get out of bed so he can go to the bathroom. Just as he got up he heard the door open and looked over to see who it was. He smiled when he saw Changkyun walk through the door.
"Good morning." Kihyun said as Changkyun walked over and kissed his head.
"Good morning Kihyunnie." Changkyun said and smiled.
"Are the others coming?" Kihyun asked as he slowly tried to take off the sweatshirt.
"Yeah, their getting snacks." Changkyun said as he helped Kihyun.
"You know how I love my snacks." Kihyun said as he smiled then put the sweatshirt on the bed and started to walk away.
"Where are you going?" Changkyun asked as he sat down.
"I'm going to the bathroom." Kihyun said as he then walked into the bathroom.
Changkyun laughed and pulled his phone out of his pocket. He started to play a game when he heard a door open. He looked up to see Wonho walk in and look around confused.
"He's in the bathroom. Where are the others?" Changkyun asked.
"Their at the car trying to figure out how to sneak the snacks in." Wonho said as he sat next to Changkyun.
Changkyun looked over at Wonho and opened his mouth when they heard the bathroom door open and Kihyun walked out. Kihyun just smiled at them both before making his way over to the bed. He sat down and got comfortable before pulling the sweatshirt over to him. Changkyun smiled at him and looked over at the door after hearing it open. He watched at his friends walked quickly into the room. Kihyun looked over and smiled at them when he realized that one of them was carrying a ton of food in a bag.
"I thought you guys were trying to find a way to sneak it in?" Wonho asked.
"We were going to but then someone walked by us as we were shoving them into Jooheon's jacket and told us we didn't have do that." Minhyuk said smiling.
"Yeah they said we had to just walk really quickly and not run into any security guards." Jooheon said.
Wonho opened his mouth to ask a question but the door opened and a nurse walked in. Kihyun noticed that it was the first male nurse he has met since he got here. The nurse smiled at them and walked further into the room.
"I see you got the snacks in without getting caught. When I saw them they were shoving them into a jacket. That wouldn't have worked at all." The nurse said as he laughed a little.
"That sounds like something they would do." Kihyun said as he smiled at the nurse.
"I came to check up on you and see how you were doing today. I think the doctor was looking at trying to release you tomorrow as long as everything is healing properly." He said as he walked over to Kihyun.
"There's a little pain in my back but its nothing I can't handle." Kihyun said as he smiled and brought the sweatshirt closer.
"That's good. Mind if I look to see if it's healing properly?" The nurse asked.
Kihyun nodded his head and turned so the nurse could look. Once the nurse was done Kihyun got comfortable again.
"It looks good and should heal up within a couple of weeks. I think the doctor may release you tomorrow." The nurse said as he smiled and walked towards the door.
Kihyun smiled at him and watched him walk out of the room. He then turned to Jooheon and Minhyuk who were already walking over to him.
"What snacks did you get?" Kihyun asked excitedly.
"First off all, good morning to you too." Minhyuk said.
"Second, all of your favorites." Jooheon said with a wide smile on his face.
Kihyun bounced a little and clapped before he started to reach for a bag. Before he could reach the bag Shownu pulled it away.
"What do you say?" Shownu asked while giving Kihyun the dad look.
"Thank you guys." Kihyun said with a defeated tone while looking down at his lap.
Shownu just nodded his head and handed Kihyun the bag of snacks. He then had to glare at the others as they started to giggle at what just happened. Kihyun looked through the bag and grabbed out one of the snacks before handing the bag to Changkyun.
"I appreciate you guys coming to keep me company." Kihyun said as he opened the package and starts eating.
"Why wouldn't we? We can't hang out together if one of us isn't there." Minhyuk said.
"But you guys hung out all the time when I was dating Jiseok." Kihyun said as he looked at them confused.
"We just told you that so you wouldn't feel bad." Hyungwon said as he smiled at Kihyun.
Kihyun felt tears form in his eyes and tried to blink them away before they fell. He didn't react fast enough so they started to fall down his cheeks. He feels someone hug him and looks through the tears to see Changkyun next to him. When Changkyun looked at him he put his hands on his face and started to wipe the tears away with his thumbs.
"Why is our Kihyunnie crying?" Hyungwon asked as he walked over to the bed.
"I-I just n-never th-th-thought I w-was worth your t-time. I a-always thought th-that you g-guys had more f-fun without m-me." Kihyun said as he sobbed.
"You will always be worth our time." Shownu said as he walked over to the bed.
"We always have way more fun when you're around anyway." Jooheon said with a smile on his face.
Kihyun just laughed as he wiped his tears away. Once he was done he looked up with a small smile and apologized for crying on them.
"Don't be sorry. We can understand why you would feel that way but just know that we would never leave you out of anything. Even if we tried there was one person who would stop us no matter what." Wonho said smiling.
"Who?" Kihyun asked as he looked at all of them.
They all shook their heads until Kihyun got to Changkyun who was looking down with a small blush on his cheeks. Kihyun then tackle hugged Changkyun as best as he could and then kissed him on the lips for the first time in front of their friends.
