I applied the last bit of lip gloss fluff my hair and pull my top down just a little more to show more chest. After two long years of talking on the phone texting and emailing...I'm finally going to see him. Me and Chris have a not so normal "how we met" story but I wouldn't change it for the world. I found this phone while at work. It looked new and no one was around...so I took it. He called that phone about ten times a day and I finally got tired of it and picked up. Turns out it was his phone and he was trying to see where it was. We just started talking from there. He's overseas now in the army. I can't help but to worry about him. Will I ever talk to him again. Will I ever get the chance to meet him in person. Today is the day that last question is answered. He was coming home and asked me to pick him up from the air port.

I've been standing at the gates he told me to for awhile now holding a sign with his name on it. Everytime a guy looked at me I wondered if it was him. I took a seat since my feet were starting to hurt.
"Would a miss Jordis please report to the middle of the floor." A lady called out over the speaker. "Again would a miss Jordis please report to the middle of the floor thank you."
Looking around it seemed like everything had stopped. No one was running or walking. Kids weren't playing. Nothing almost as if time had stopped.
"Jordis middle floor please." The woman said again.
I slowly got up from my seat and walked to the middle of the floor. Nervous is nothing to what I was feeling. Out of no where I see a group of the army men and woman walking my way. I started to moved when a deep voice told me to stay. They marked along side me.
"Hello Jordis." I hear his voice.
"Chris?"
He laughed. "Yeah baby. You look great. Even more beautiful then I imagined."
"W-where are you?"
"Here. Do you love me?"
My heart rate picked up more if that was even possible. "Y-yes I do."
"Good because I love you even more. I wake up thinking of you and go to sleep thinking of you. I will admit I never thought I would be able to say I found love and defiantly not threw a phone. The day we met I just knew something was meant to be with us. It was chance that made me leave me phone and for you to find it. You are the love of my life and I would do anything to keep you happy. The fact that you were there even tho we were in different parts of the world just shows how much you care and I can't thank you enough for that. I hope to have a family with you one day. You can meet my mom and she'll tell me how perfect you are and I'll just say I know mom. Baby I love you more than a lot of thing including this army shit I'm doing which is why in done with it. I want to come home from a regular job to you everyday."
By now I was crying. I just want to see him. "Baby where are you?"
"Closer them you think." He chuckled. "I'll come out soon you just answer this question for me. Is that ok with you?"
"Yes Chris that's fine."
"Ok then...close you eyes and no peaking." I cover my eyes. "Alright open them.
Looking down I see what I'm guessing and hoping is him. He smiled getting down on one of his knees. I gasp watching him. He hands over a flower first clearing his throat. "Will you marry me!"
It is him. I broke down crying hugging him. He chuckled rubbing my back. "I can't believe it's you...your here in front of me and...wait what did you ask?"
"I said will you marry me?" He pulled out a small black box opening it. I see a beautiful ring. "It's not much but-"
"Yes." I interrupted him. He smiled big. "Yes I will marry you." He slide the ring on my finger.
"Can I kiss you?"
"Please do." He chuckled grabbing my face.
The entire place roared with applause. I looked around in amazement. The troops were cheering along with the other people around. Chris stood pulling me with him.
"I love you Jordis. You've made me the happiest man on this planet."
We kissed again. I could get use to this. "I love you more Chris."
