Secretly in love

chapter 4

Thalias POV:

What did Luke mean by "we need to break up?" I thought things were going fine. I mean sure I was secretly in love with Matt, but I have been since I first met him. I was still with Matt and he knew something was wrong. I didn't want to tell him because I know how protective he is.

Matts POV:

I was just chilling with Thalia when she got this this text message. She seemed fine then her facial expression dramatically changed from that gorgeous smile to a confused sad face. I knew something was wrong. She didn't want to tell me, but I made her. If something is wrong with my Thalia, I'm going to help her. She showed me the text message from Luke. I immediately got pissed off. How could he do this? Thalia is perfect. Why would he ever want to leave her? Thalia started to cry. I put her head on my chest and told her everything was going to be okay. I was always there for her. I would always be her shoulder to cry on. Always. She is my everything.

*The next day*

Me and Thalia were sitting at the lunch table, when I seen Luke across the room. I couldn't believe what he did to Thalia. I screamed across the room "HEY LUKE! WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" He seemed confused. I was done with him. I knew he wasnt good enough for Thalia. I knew from the start. I never trusted him. I walked over to him and started yelling.

Thalias POV:

"Dude wtf?! Why did you break up with her!?" Matt said. "She was a terrible girlfriend! We never hung out! She hung out with you more than her own boyfriend!" Luke said. "I know for a fact that she was a great girlfriend. The only reason she never hung out with you is because you never answered her texts!" Matt said. "whatever. And if shes such a great girlfriend then why don't you date that little bitch? I could care less what she does anymore." Luke said. " SHE IS NOT A BITCH. SHE IS PERFECT AND ANYONE WOULD BE LUCKY TO HAVE HER! YOU'RE JUST TOO BLIND TO SEE HOW AMAZING SHE IS! SHE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, KIND, CARING, TRUSTWORTHY, FUNNY PERSON I KNOW! DONT YOU DARE TALK ABOUT HER THAT WAY! I DONT WANNA HEAR HER NAME IN YOUR MOUTH AGAIN." Matt shouted. "Jeez man calm the fuck down." Luke said. "IM NOT GONNA CALM THE FUCK DOWN DONT TALK ABOUT THALIA LIKE THAT. YOU KNOW WHAT? ITS GOOD YOU BROKE UP WITH HER. SHE DESERVES BETTER ANYWAYS." Matt said then walked away. I couldnt believe he just said all of that. He stood up for me. He came back to our table and sat down. I immediately sprang up and gave him the biggest hug ever! No one has ever stood up for me like that! "Oh my gosh thank you so much for standing up for me bæ♥ You have no idea how much this means to me!" I said. "Anything for my bæ!" Matt said. Then lunch ended and we went to our normal classes.

Shawns POV:

I couldnt believe what I just saw. I've never seen Matt like that. If I didnt know any better I would think he likes Thalia. When me and Matt were at our lockers I asked him " Whoa man... Do you like Thalia? Because that speech you just gave was pretty intense. It seems like you like her. She must mean a lot to you for you to do all that."

Matts POV:

Should I tell Shawn? I don't know.. I havent told anyone. No one knows that I'm in love with her. Maybe I should tell someone and get it off my chest. "Of course I like her, shes amazing. She can always make me laugh, shes gorgeous, shes kind, shes trustworthy, shes everything Ive ever wanted. But I doubt she'd ever want to date me.." I said. Man did it feel good to tell someone.

Shawns POV:

I knew Matt liked her! He's never defenfed someone like that before. Matt doubted that Thalia would date him. But you never know unless you try! I told him to just ask her out. Then it hit me. I should just take my own advice and ask out Kaylee. I couldnt stop thinking about the moment our hands touched and I looked into her beautiful blue eyes.

Amandas POV:

Whoa. What just happened?! I was in the bathroom and I come back and I hear that Matt just yelled at Luke? I always miss everything when I go pee! I'm glad he did though. Luke doesnt deserve someone as great as Thalia. Wow. I wish someone would stand up for me like that..
