chapter 46

Matts POV:

Cameron wants to take Thalia, so I'm gonna bring back an old friend of his. That'll show him. Thalia thinks hes so great but just wait. I know he won't want Thalia when Mirabella comes for a visit. Cameron was in love with her for the longest time and when he finally got the courage to ask her out, she said she was moving across the country. But if I bring her back, Camerons old feelings for her will most likely come back. I got her a plane ticket and she left last night. Her plane should be landing any minute now.

Mirabellas POV:

I was soo excited to see Cameron again! It had been so long and I felt really bad when I moved. I really liked Cameron and when he asked me out, I was so ecstatic but then I remembered that I was moving across the country. I was finally going to see him again! My plane landed and I seen Matt waiting for me. I walked off the plane with my luggage and went to meet him. He gave me a smile and said "Okay, so Cameron doesn't know you're here, its gonna be a big surprise! So do you wanna go see him now?" "Yes!!!" I said. Matt helped me put my luggage into the taxi then we left to go see Cameron.

Matts POV:

I wasn't going to tell her that Cameron has a girlfriend. That would ruin the whole plan. The plan was that Thalia would see Cameron and Mirabella and she would get jealous and come to me. And I know Mirabella, we used to be very good friends. So if shes still the same as I remember, she'll make a move on Cameron and Thalia will notice and then she'll see that Cameron isn't such a perfect boyfriend.

Mirabellas POV:

The taxi pulled up to a house that I didn't recognize, but I guess that's where Cameron was staying. At least thats what Matt told me. I was sooo excited to see Cameron again! I grabbed my luggage and knocked on the door. A few seconds later Cameron opened the door and he was shirtless. "CAMERON!" I shouted as I gave him a big hug. He seemed so surprised. "Mirabella? Is that you?" he said. "Yepp. I came to see you!" I said. "Oh my god its been so long!" he said as he spun me in his arms. I giggled as he put me down. He welcomed me inside and I seen a girl on the couch. "Umm, hi. Im Mirabella." I said to her. "Oh hi! I'm Thalia. Nice to meet you!" She said to me. She seemed really nice. But I wasn't gonna let her get in the way of me and Cameron. I still had feelings for Cameron. I wasn't going to let her take him from me. But for now, I think we can be friends.

Thalias POV:

I seen Cameron pick some random girl that I've never seen before up and spin her in his arms. Of course I didnt like it, but I just pretended like nothing happened. He seemed excited to see her. She was really pretty. She had long, blonde, curly hair and blue eyes. I hope Cameron doesn't leave me for her... I know I said that he will never hurt me but now I'm not so sure. She was really nice, but kinda shy. She said hi and I greeted her back. Then, Matt walked through the door. "Hey Thalia!" he said as he walked through the door. "Wanna let these two catch up while we go do something?" Matt said. I didn't like the thought of them alone together, but I had to trust Cameron. I said "Sure I'll be out in a second" A few minutes later I walked downstairs. I said goodbye to Cam and Mirabella as I walked out the door. "So what do you wanna do?" I said. "How about we go on a long walk, just like old times?" Matt said. "Sounds great!" I said. Im not gonna lie. I really did miss the long walks me and Matt used to take. We started walking. "Wow, its a really nice day out today!" he said. "It is! I love sunny days like this." I said. "What are we gonna do when it gets colder?" Matt said. "Well we can cuddle with our cuddle buddies for warmth!" I said. I seen Matt get a little sad since he didn't have a cuddle buddy, so I said "Or I could just come over and give you a hug" He looked up at me and smiled :)

Matts POV:

Even though I really hurt Thalia, she still cared. When she seen me get sad when she was talking about cuddle buddies, she said she would come over and give me a hug. This is why I loved her. She always made me feel better. Even when I was such an asshole to her. She still wanted me happy. I can't do this to Thalia. I can't. I can't have her heartbroken again. She really doesn't deserve it. I grabbed her hand and started sprinting back to her house. "Matt, why are we going back to the house?" she said. "We have to!" I said. I finally reached her house and ran in. Cameron and Mirabella were in the kitchen. Thalia came in behind me and got extremely mad at Mirabella.
