chapter 52

Shawns POV:

Kaylee was coming over today and I wanted to do something special for her. She texted me which woke me up.

From: My baby♥

Hey Shawn, I'm coming over in a half hour. Is that okay?

I quickly woke up and texted her back. I only had a half hour to get everything!

To: My baby♥

Of course beautiful :) Can't wait to see you!

Right after I texted back I jumped into the shower. Once I was done, I got dressed and put my jacket on. Then, I ran down the street until I reached the jewelry shop. I looked at a million things before I found the perfect gift. I paid the nice man then ran back home. I looked at my phone to check the time. 11:26. I still had 4 minutes to spare. Thank god.

Kaylees POV:

I was almost at Shawns house when I passed the jewelry store. I seen some of the jewelry in the window. All of it was beautiful. I would buy one, but I just don't have the money. I sighed as I continued walking to Shawns house. I reached his house and knocked on the door. I was greeted by his mom. "Oh hello sweetie, good to see you! Shawns upstairs in his room." she said. Shawns mom loved me. We got along very well. She loved the fact that him and I were together. I walked up the stairs to Shawns room. His door was closed. "Shawn? Its me." I said as I knocked on the door. The door opened seconds later and I seen Shawn smiling at me. "What?" I said. "I'm just happy to see you! And I have a surprise for later." he said. A surprise? What could it be? I gave him a confused look and he just said "You'll see." with a smirk. Then, he grabbed my hand and we left. "Bye honey! Oh and bye Sweetie! Have fun!" His mom said to Shawn and I as we walked out the door. We walked down the sidewalk hand in hand until we reached a beautiful wishing fountain. The water was shooting up and the sun was shining down perfectly. "Shawn, why are we here?" I said. "Kaylee, you mean so much to me. I love you so much, you have no idea. Words can't even explain it, so I thought this might help." Shawn reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small black box. "Whats this?" I said while smiling as he handed me the box. I opened it to see a beautiful silver charm bracelet. I gasped and covered my mouth. "Shawn! This must have cost a fortune! I can't take this!" I said. "Its okay Kaylee, I love you and I want you to have it. This heart charm resembles how much I love you, the halo charm represents you, because you're my angel, the guitar and microphone charms represent me, this building charm resembles where we first met, this star charm resembles how bright you are, this earth charm represemts you again, because you're my world, and the K and S charms, they stand for Kaylee and Shawn. I love you." Shawn said. "Let me put it on you." I held out my wrist for Shawn as he put the beautiful charm bracelet on me. "Perfect." he said. "Shawn, I-I don't know what to say. Thank you, I love you so much!" I said as I jumped up and gave Shawn a kiss. He picked me up and carried me all the way back home after that. When he reached my doorstep he said "Whenever you miss me, just look at this bracelet and know I'm thinking about you, and that I'm here for you. Okay?" "Okay Shawn. I love you." I said. He smiled and gave me a peck. "I love you too gorgeous." he said. When I walked in the house, I went up to my room, closed the door, and slid down 'til I was sitting on the floor with my back against the door. I looked down at the charm bracelet because I already missed Shawn.
