chapter 49

Cams POV:

I walked out of tacobell with my food without saying another word. The thought turned back and forth in my mind. Did I have to leave her? I had to. Could I do it? But I love her. But she obviously doesn't love me the same way I love her. I know I said I'd never hurt her, and I'm keeping that promise. Because I won't be hurting her. Because she doesn't feel the same way, so she can't be getting hurt. The only person who's getting hurt, is me. But I have to do it. I see the way her and Matt act together. As much as I want to be with her and be the one she wants, I'm not. Matt is. I have to do it no matter how much it hurts me. I waited for her to come home. About a half hour later she walked in the door with a huge smile on her face. I took a deep breath. "Thalia, we need to talk." I said as I gestured for her to come sit next to me. "Whats up Cam?" she said. "You don't know how much this is going to hurt me, but I'm afraid I have to break up with you. This isn't because I don't love you, trust me I'm head over heels for you. But, you are in love with Matt and thats how it'll always be. I wanted so badly to have a future with you, but we just weren't meant to be. You and Matt are. I see the way you two act around eachother. You have no idea how hard this is for me to say, but go. Go find Matt and tell him you love him. And don't worry, nothing is going to change in our friendship! I'll always be up for a dance party, and when you're feeling down, give me a call and I'll come over and make you feel better. I'll always be here for you. Remember that." "Cam, I-I'm so sorry. But you're right. im still in love with Matt. I do love you though Cam, you'll always be my best friend, and no one will ever take your place. Thank you for understanding Cam." she said. "Okay now go! Go find Matt! Tell him you love him!" I said. She gave me the biggest smile I had ever seen on her before and then kissed me on the cheek and whispered in my ear "I'll always love you Cameron." then left.

Thalias POV:

I ran out the door and started running down the street. "MATT! MATT WAIT!" I shouted down the street. I seen him stop and turn around. I finally caught up to him and pressed my lips against his and I felt sparks flying. I released and smiled while staring into his dreamy eyes. "I love you Matt. I never stopped." I said. "I never stopped loving you Thalia. You're my everything." he said. He picked me up in his arms and spun me around. I missed this so much.

Matts POV:

I was walking home from Thalias house after we finished at Tacobell when I heard her screaming my name. I stopped and turned around to see her running towards me. The next thing I knew our lips were together and I could've sworn I seen fireworks. "I love you Matt. I never stopped." she said as she stared into my eyes. I've missed her so much. I would NEVER make that mistake again in my life. Never would I ever kiss another girl besides Thalia again.
