chapter 23

Matts POV:

I wanted to do something SUPER special for Thalia. It was almost her birthday! I woke up at about 6:00 a.m. and got my jacket on and left. As I was leaving I kissed Thalia on her forehead. Her eyes fluttered open, she looked beautiful. She said "Good morning babe, where ya going?" as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. I said "Just taking a walk, go back to bed sweetheart." I knew she was tired. She nodded her head in agreement and quickly dozed off. Then, I left and roamed through the streets of Paris, looking for a beautiful dress for Thalia. I went through so many stores and suddenly, something caught my eye. I walked up to it, and there was only one left. It was her size too! It was a beautiful red dress. I could just imagine her in it :) She was gonna look beautiful. Not that she wasnt already beautiful, she could look gorgeous in sweatpants and a t-shirt. I purchased the dress and left to go get myself a tuxedo. Then, I went to find a jewelry store. I wanted to get her something that when she looked at it, she would think of me and know everything was gonna be okay and that I would always be there for her. I finally found one across the street and ran in. Thalia was going to love her present :)

Thalias POV:

I went back to bed because I was extremely tired this morning. Matt said he was going out for a walk. I didn't ask anymore questions. I just dozed off. I woke up again around 9:15. Matt was still gone. I decided to call him.

Matt: Hey babe! Whats up?

I could tell he was smiling :)

Me: Hey babe! I was just wondering where you were.

I paused for a second.

Me: Soo, why are you so happy?

Matt: Oh trust me, you'll see.

I didn't question him since I knew he wasnt gonna tell me.

Me: Oh okay babe. So when are you gonna be back? I miss you..

Matt: I miss you too babe, I'm on my way back now!

Me: Yay! Talk to you when you get here!

Then I hung up and hopped into the shower. When I got out, I had no make-up on and my hair was just down. I had sweats and a loose shirt on. Matt finally walked in. He looked at me and smiled. "What?" I said. "Even when you don't try, you still look beautiful!" he said. I ran up to him and hugged him. He spun me in his arms then sat on the bed and patted his thighs, telling me to sit on his lap. I sat on his lap and he gently moved a piece of hair out of my face. He then said "I love you princess" and smiled into a kiss. I released after about 2 minutes and said "I love you too babe." and kissed his cheek. Then I laid down on the bed and said "Why am I so cold?" Matt said "Its okay babe, Ill keep you warm." The next thing I knew Matt was cuddling with me. He was so warm and cuddly, he was like a big teddy bear!

Matts POV:

I was cuddling with Thalia. I felt her goosebumps. She was really cold. I started rubbing her arm and her goosebumps slowly went away. I took off my sweatshirt and gave it to her. She smiled and put it on. Then she said "Wow, this thing is really warm!" "You can have it!" I said. "Really?!" She said. "Yeah, take it!" She gave me a tight hug and then stood up off the bed. "Where ya going?" I said. "Lets do something!" she said. "Okay, okay lets go!" and we left.

Thalias POV:

Before we left I changed into a floral top, black leggings, and vans. I was really happy Matt gave me his sweatshirt. It smelt just like him, and he smelled soo good! That sweatshirt immediately warmed me up and I was feeling great! We left, not even knowing what we wanted to do. Soon, it got sunny out so I took off the hoodie Matt gave me. He said "Wow, you look flawless" He couldn't take his eyes off of me. I said "Matt, I'm not wearing anything special." He said "I know, but you look, you look perfect." He said while studdering. I said "Awe, you're so sweet and I kissed his cheek. He quickly turned my head and placed his lips on mine. It felt amazing. He kissed me so passionately and slowly. He released his lips from mine and pulled out a single red rose from behind his back. I stood there with my eyes wide open and my hand covering my mouth. I was speechless! I finally said "Oh my god, Matt, its beautiful!" He said "Not as beautiful as you sweetheart." I smiled and looked at the rose. Matt was the best! After that we took a long walk back to our hotel. We walked into our hotel room and I said "Tonight was perfect." and smiled. I could never stop smiling around him. Then he said "And its about to get even better." He smirked and started taking his clothes off. I did the same. Matt turned the light off, locked the door, grabbed a condom, and well you know what happened next.
