=Embers POV=
Lachlan and I walk down to the lake. The whole pack was there! We had set out snacks and what looks like pop. I think there where also juice packs and boxs.
I smiled as I see Preston and rob sharing a burger. I notice Jerome and Mitch talking next to the lake. I smirked. "JEROME TOSS!" I yelled.
Jerome looked up looking till his eyes found mine. We both smiled as he crouched down. I run as fast as I can towards him. At the last second I jump into his arms. I don't stay there long as he throws me into the water.
Probably should have taken off my hoodie and shorts.
I popped up. I looked at Brendan as he held up seven fingers. "WHAT COME ON!" I yell. He chuckles shrugging walking over grabbing a juice box. I swim out taking off my now wet clothes. I set them next to the fire to dry.
I sighed walking over grabbing a handful or chips. Rob and vikk jogged over smiling happily. "Emmmmm" rob said.
I rolled my eyes finishing my handful of chips. "Whattttttt?" I replied.
Vikk looked at his feet blushing. "We need your help setting up vikk and Lachlan." Rob explained
I nodded taking a moment to think. "You willing to risk your life?" I asked vikk.
"Okay how much we talkin?" He asked.
I sighed. "You can't swim. Lachlan is the the strongest swimmer. He was a lifeguard for year!" I explained.
Vikk smirked. "Okay let's do it!" He giggled.
"Go stand next to Mitch and talk to him" I smirked.
Vikk nodded running off. I talked to rob for a bit making sure we aren't suspicious. I nodded to rob and I snuck off making sure vikk didn't see me. "AGH" I screamed.
I screamed in return falling backwards into the lake. I laughed leaned next to Mitch. Vikk suddenly came up flailing begging for help. "VIKK!" I heard Lachlan scream as he dove in. No one seemed worried as everyone probably saw that I set this up.
Lachlan pulled vikk out of the water. Vikk was shaking. It was clear though he knew he would have to swim he was still scared.
"I THINK HE NEEDS MOUTH TO MOUTH!" Faith yelled making me laugh.
Lachlan raised a eyebrow at the now blushing vikk. He leaned down kissing vik softly.
Cheers erupted throughout the group. Lachlan pulled away pulling vikk to his feet. "Love. Please next time ask for a kiss instead of almost drowning" he chuckled pecking vikks lips.
I laughed lightly before shoving mitch into the lake. I jumped in right afterwards making sure not to crush him.
Everyone seemed to jump in after that. Even vikk though he stayed near the edge.
Preston swam closer to me splashing me lightly. I scoffed swimming down. I looked around seeing everyone's feet kicking to stay up. Damn-Jerome has a nice ass-like not in the I'd tap that just-I can appreciate a nice ass!
I continued to sit at the bottom. I hooked my foot on a root of what seemed to be a tree at the bottom. I watched as Faith pushed her face into the water looking at me. I smiled at her as our eyes locked. She-didn't smile back...

I swam up getting out of the lake. I heard the snap of a camera and saw Matt holding a large camera snapping photos. Of me and everyone else. I chucked shoving him lightly. "Dude I'm gonna dry off" I told standing up running to the pile of towels Jerome brought-how do I know? There fancy and white.
I sighed drying my hair. Then I moved to my legs then to my torso then back and so on. I dried myself until I was bone dry. I sighed pulling on my shorts and hoodie.
I sat near the fire watching it. It danced. Some strands moved calmly like ballerinas. While other had rough movements. It was truly beautiful. Red slowly moved into a orange with flecks of yellow and gold. Embers flew off before disappearing.

I walked over to ember. My sweats low on my waist and my curls up in a ponytail. I was in a loose crop top I had actually stolen from the blue haired girl. I sat next to the small girl. She was completely entranced with the fire.
I placed my hand on her shoulder making her jump. She looked over and I heard the click of a camera. I sighed.
Ember looked like she was about to cry yet-she was smiling. I drew my hand away and she got up laughing lightly. God it was so fake. She walked over to Preston and rob talking to the couple happily.
Why was she faking all this?
Hours passed and everyone was around the fire dry and roasting marshmallows. I looked over at ember who has sat next to me. All the ships where together. Mitch had his legs over Jerome as he did there marshmallows. Preston was in robs lap as they talked. Preston refused to eat a marshmallow saying he was "to fat" which earned his a mountain of love from rob. Brendan as always was flirting with Matt who was bright red and taking photos. Mostly of me and ember. Vikk and Lachlan had gone home to "talk about there relationship". We all knew they went home to fuck.
"So ember" Matt started. "Is there anyone in your life who you're interested in?" He asked.
As the word yes left her mouth a felt a pang of jealousy. She was meant to be mine. I was working on getting her to fall in love with me. After that night that she kissed me I just needed to show her how I felt. But she was always so distant.
Everyone ooooo'd making her clearly uncomfortable. "Shut up. Poofless how's everything going relationship wise?" Ember asked. The happy tone she put on seemed so-artificial.
Preston shrugged. "It's good. We fight like any couple but-yeah" Preston explained.
Rob shook his head. "I'm Prestons best friend and I didn't know about how depressed he could get but again. I didn't basically live with him when we were friends" he laughed.
Jerome chuckled. "That's because he lived at my place"
We all laughed lightly.
"Okay Brendan and Matt" Mitch started. "You're the only two left. Where's the love?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
Matt blushed looking down. Brendan had a prominent smirk on his face. "Yeah. Where's the love?" He asked Matt.
Matt flipped us off and I saw ember grab her phone. Before anyone-but ember had time to proses what happened Matt had his lips on Brendan's.
I started the cheers first which caused a wave of cheers to escape the lips of the pack.
Looks like it was just me and ember.
But she likes someone. I lost my chance. Stupid plan.
