<Kyle POV>

I stood by the door holding Isabella waiting for Kylie to reach us.

She stepped out of the car and I saw a smile spread and light up her face. I couldn't help but smile back at her. She's just so beautiful.

Her hair was naturally blonde and fell in waves around her perfectly sculpted face. Her skin tone matched her hair perfectly and she had soft brown eyes.

She always wore clothes that covered her and she didn't pretend to be someone she wasn't, one of the many things I loved about her.

The reason I went out with Greer? Well for one, I never stood a chance with Kylie and I was hoping shed take my mind off of Kylie. But either way I just think back to 'That Night.'

The second reason? Everyone at school expects me to be with Greer because she's captain of the cheerleading squad and I'm the star quarterback. Not to sound cocky but it was true.

Kylie came up to us and I already had the door open so she strolled in and I set Bells on her feet and bent down to her level and whispered in her ear, "Go play with your toys."

She nodded at me and went over to her Barbie’s in the corner of the living room.

I followed Kylie to the kitchen and I saw her making what I think was Grilled Cheese sandwiches so I went up behind her and couldn't help but wrap my arms across her waist from behind.

I felt her lean into my back and continue making the sandwiches so I kissed the top of her head and spoke into her ear.

"You’re doing great Kylie."

"Yeah but it's mostly Bells for being so good."

"Not just Bells. You’re doing so well with everything," I corrected her while shaking my head.

I took my arms back and then went over to the couch and watched Bells as she played.

Looking at Bells always made me feel better even if Kylie didn’t get why. I planned on telling her one day, I just can't find the words to tell her.

<FLASHBACK>

I felt sunlight on my face.

I opened my eyes just as I felt a slight breeze all over my body.

I looked around and saw that I was lying on a bed, in an unknown room and a head of hair against a pillow beside me.

I looked down only to confirm my thoughts.

I wasn’t wearing any clothes and neither was the girl beside me.

I leaned over her and looked at her face and felt like I had just been slapped across the face.

I was looking into the face of none other than my best friend, the girl I've been in love with since forever.

Kylie.

I quickly got up and without even thinking I looked around until I found my clothes and slipped them on.

I couldn’t get the thought out of my head. I’m a freshman in school and I just lost my virginity to my best friend and she has no clue.

<END FLASHBACK>

I felt something settle beside me on the couch in Kylie’s house and I looked to my right to see that it was Kylie herself.

She gave me a warm smile and then said softly to me, “Of all the things that I regret, having Bells is not one of them. Remember the day I found out about her?”

She looked off into the distance and I knew she was remembering that day. Just like I was.

<FLASHBACK>

I went over to Kylie’s house just like I do every day, and at the door I ran into Kylie’s parents who were both looking like they were arguing over something which I think was they don’t spend enough time with their daughter.

I walked around them and ran up the stairs of their mansion up to Kylie’s room.

Her walls were as pink as ever since her parents still treated her like a 5-year old, and the first thing I heard was the sound of someone being sick.

I made my way to Kylie’s bathroom where I noticed that she was leaning over her toilet, throwing up.

I rushed over to her and pulled her hair up and held it there for her, as she continued.

When she finally finished, she leaned back and sat with her back against the wall. I saw her eyes start to water, and then the tears began to fall.

I sat beside her and I brought her into my lap where she began to cry her eyes out.

She looked up at me after several minutes of her sobbing and she said quietly to me, “I need a pregnancy test.”

My eyes widened in shock, but I nodded at her silent plea and I gently lifted her off my lap and stood up.

I placed a small kiss on the top of her head and then I made my way to the closest drug store and I walked to the isle that handled all the pregnancy tests. I grabbed a few, all different brands and then I walked up to the counter.

The lady gave me a couple looks but checked everything out for me.

Once she finished I made my way back to Kylie’s house and up to her room, completely ignoring her parents as I walked up to her bathroom.

She was waiting there for me, when I reached her.

She gave a few weary glances at the bag in my hand but she took it anyways and I went out into her room and sat on her bed.

Five minutes later Kylie came out of the bathroom with tears staining her face. I didn’t hesitate to stand up as she came running over to me.

I opened my arms for her and she came running into them, burying her face into my chest.

“Are you?” I whispered beside her ear, already knowing the answer.

She nodded her head against my chest and I let a couple tears fall from my eyes as well, knowing damn well that it was all my fault.

From that day on, I went over to her house and did everything and anything she wanted or needed me to do because I couldn’t live with myself if I knew that I didn’t do anything for her during this time.

<END FLASHBACK>

I was yanked out of my thoughts when I felt a tug on my jeans.

I opened my eyes to see Bells standing there, looking at me.

She had bright blue eyes, my eyes, and wavy blonde hair that obviously belonged to her mother.

I heard her whisper the word “Daddy,” to me and I couldn’t help but smile at her. Bells had no clue that I actually was her father but I’ve been there for her since the day that she was born.

I reached for her as she lifted her little arms and brought her up to sit on my lap.

Kylie lifted herself up and looked me dead in the eyes and I knew that she wanted to talk.

“Hey Bells, why don’t you watch a movie and me and mommy can go make you something to eat?” I whispered encouragingly into her ear.

She nodded her head and Kylie got up and put in a Disney movie while Bells sat on the couch and began to watch the TV.

Kylie led me into the kitchen and she quickly sat on the counter and I leaned against the counter across from her.

“Kyle, why are you letting her call you daddy?”

I shrugged my shoulders and then said quietly, “I don’t mind it Kylie.”

Her eyes instantly softened and she hopped off the counter and came over to wrap her arms around me.

“Thank you for being there for me and her.” All I could do was nod as tears fell from my eyes.
