.:Skater Girl:. Part 17
It was already Tuesday morning and there was only another week until winter vacation although it wasn’t necessarily cold out since we lived near the coast in California although I didn’t go out much due to Bells.
I stayed up late the night before thinking thoroughly on the pros and cons on what I thought was a perfect plan and decided to run it through Kyle before I truly made a decision.
I had slept a very minimal amount of hours last night and when I finally woke up at 5 in the morning I went downstairs and sat on the couch knowing that when Kyle woke up he would come looking for me.
“Kylie?” I heard Kyle’s voice call out from the stairs.
“Down here,” I said softly not wanting to take any chances on waking up Isabella. He came towards me and raised an eyebrow. He obviously wanted to know why I was here instead of in bed. “I had an idea a few days ago but still don’t know if it’s the best thing to do,” I sighed.
“What were you planning K?”
“I was thinking, Mr. Cooper is pissed that we’re not doing anything in his class and I sure as hell am not bringing that doll everywhere I go and at this point I don’t care if people start finding out about Isabella, they’re going to find out either way.”
Kyle was sitting beside me on the couch and after looking away from me until he finally looked at me and asked with complete seriousness in his voice, “Are you sure you want to do this?”
I shrugged my shoulders and shook my head, “I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing, that’s why I’m asking you.”
He looked around thinking until he looked at me and came up with an answer, “I think we should do it.” My head snapped up to look at him and he continued, “I mean obviously we can’t really get in trouble, we both get good grades, so it’s not like it complicates anything and you or maybe even we should get an A on the assignment since we raised her by ourselves.”
I smiled and rested my head against the crook of his neck and said softly, “It is we. I can’t take the credit for raising her because you have been there since even before I had her. You helped me more than anyone else I know.”
He wrapped an arm around me and sat me down on his lap where he drew invisible circles on my back. “K, we have to start getting ready, we have about an hour before school starts.”
I nodded and got off Kyle’s lap and headed upstairs where I left Bells on the bed as she snoozed and took a 5 minute shower and then walked into my closet and locked the door not taking any chances.
I went to the back of the closet and found the stash of clothes that Allie and I had put there and then began to slip each item of clothing on.
The black jeans hugged my curves perfectly, something that I was used to wearing so that I was comfortable and not skating in a dress and then slipped on the teal blue and white stripped tank top and then matching blue off the shoulder top that only reached half of my stomach so that it showed off the tank top under it. I slipped on the sandals that matched the shirt and then walked out with my hair cascading down my shoulders in soft waves from yesterday.
I went into the bathroom and took out the hair straightner and proceeded to straighten out all of my hair and finished in a good 10 minutes. After I had gotten through my whole head of hair I went to my dresser and put on a tiny bit of make-up.
Eyeliner to make my eyes ‘pop’. Lip gloss just so that lips shone. Then I put a pair of feathered earrings that matched the blue of my shirt.
I walked out of the bathroom and saw that neither Kyle nor Bells where in the room so I walked down the hall to Bells room and saw Kyle going through her closet looking through the clothes.
