I turn as I hear Emily singing this for me. I know it's one of her favourite songs. I'm stunned that she'd do this because she's not sung much lately, her excuse being that it was less nerve racking when she couldn't see the audience!

My smile is so wide I feel my face start to ache, and a happy tear forms in the corner of my eye. The people in the bar applaud and whistle when she's done then I hear

"Tony, thank you for being there for me over the last year. I love you more than anything and I can't wait to be your wife and spend the rest of my life with you".

I run up to the stage, pick her up and give a huge kiss. Everyone in the building is cheering. I love this sweet girl so much.
