A/N
lol I'm not dead I promise.
I just really lost my love for Naruto with all of that Boruto bs and I was really going through one of the worst times of my life.
Things WILL be inconsistent since its been years since I've wrote for the story. I don't even know how many of you still read this .-.
I'll finish Koneko's story, slowly but surely.
----
A small groan of pain came from the Uchiha as his head was attack with a sharp flash of pain. He attempted stand up, but coughed as a sudden weight pressed against his chest. His eyes trail down to the white haired beauty lying unconscious on his chest. Her usually white hair was tainted with dirt, grass, and ash from the explosion that had happened a few moments before.
She stirs slightly, rubbing her chest against his in the process before sitting up and locking eyes with the Uchiha. She blinks once. Twice. Then quickly flashed a few feet away as she covered her face to hide her blush. Koneko converts to her normal self before clearing her throat, "Listen. Don't get the wrong idea. Both of us would have died if I didn't save you." She spoke, digging in her pouch in hope for bandages or medicine.
Sasuke stared at the giant snake in the empty space behind her as it collapsed in a fine dust. She whistled as she pulled out a roll of fresh bandages and began wrapping her physical injuries, "I worked with Deidara and helped him add more heat than explosion. You just sacrificed a giant snake for nothing. It wasn't your style anyways."
The young Uchiha began to move from his spot against the tree, but Koneko had pushed him back and shook her head. She created a tiger from her leftover chakra, allowing it to pick up Sasuke upon its back, "I wouldn't even try escaping. I have the ability to kill you on the spot." She glanced behind her and she began walking forward.
Sasuke stayed silent, knowing he had no power to do anything, and only watched the cat girl hold her right forearm as she walked with a slight limp. She winced every few steps and her breathing with heavy. He knew she barely could do anything, but she had more power and energy than him.
Koneko let out a small hiss as her grip on her arm tightened. She glanced at the injury, knowing that she needed to hurry.
The injury happened when she was trying to grab Sasuke from the blast. The giant snake's venom was powerful and barely grazed her arm. It was slowly burning her flesh as her pain tolerance was slowly diminishing.
The chakra tiger licked her arm in attempts to remove any blood, "Ah..it's okay." She muttered, petting the head in which it purred in response.
"Do you really talk to your own chakra?" Sasuke spoke lowly with a slight hint of confusion. Koneko bit her lip to hold her back from slapping him in the face, but she was able to maintain self control, "Chakra is the source of all living things. It flows through everything. It's alive."
The young Uchiha stayed silent and moved to lay on his back, allowing the girl to continue moving forward. They were walking in the middle of the woods to what it seemed like an eternity. The sound of rushing water entered his senses, so his natural instinct was to look forward.
What he didn't anticipate, however, was being tossed in a lake of sorts. Water quickly entered his lungs, but he was unable to move due to the amount of injures. A hand grabbed the back of his collar, pulling him up against a rock for him to grab onto, "Wh-what was that for!" he coughed up water, eyes settling on the cat girl who began undressing her top layer.
