My name...my name..what is my name? What even happened to me?

"Of course, Shiro-nee! I'll try my hardest next time. I almost had it.." a voice of a little boy entered my subconscious, bouncing around and repeating itself over and over. He sounds...pleasant.

Wait...a young boy? The last thing I remembered was being completely isolated, alone as the darkness consumed my very being. My body doesn't seem to respond to my commands. Another voice spoke, most likely to the little boy, "TsuTsu, try lowering your elbow then pulling back all the way to your cheek and not your mouth. It makes a difference, trust me."

The voice sounded feminine, though there was hint masculinity that I had barely picked up. I had finally gained control of my hand that only twitched in response. It was something at least. My eyelids didn't feel heavy anymore, but I still wasn't able to open them.

I felt a wet towel be placed on my head and this time nobody spoke. The water dripped down my face, coating my eyelashes which seemed to finally do the trick.

The strange golden toned light seeped between my eyelids, temporarily blinding me. I woke up on my side, so my view was automatically set on the boy from earlier. He had black hair that hadn't seen a pair of scissors in months, though it wasn't terribly long. His eyes were a glowing turquoise that shown his love and dedication to everything he does. He was wearing an expensive layered noble's kimono, but it was slightly scuffed up because he was practicing.

He was perfect to me.

The boy turned around to face me, giving me a warm smile causing me to blush, "You're finally awake hm?" he asked, setting down his bow and arrow, walking up to the open room I was in. He sat on the tatami mat next to my futon, staring at me with his gorgeous eyes, "I'm Itsuo." he greeted, panicking suddenly, "Kessho! My last name and clan is Kessho! Itsuo Kessho is my full name!"

I let out a small breath as I attempted to remember anything about me, "I'm not really sure who I am..." I whispered with the blush still on my face. He rubbed his head, placing a bag of ice on my head, "Well after being thrown down the flight of stairs I would guess as much.."

Wait...I was thrown down stairs?! He seemed to answer my question, "When some of the other clan members exited to the surface to trade with the other clans, Someone apparently threw a bag down the flight of stairs that leads down here and you were in it....I'm surprised you didn't die."

Someone rushed in the room, bowing her head as she entered. She quickly ran over to Itsuo, picking him up on his feet, cleaning what she can off his expensive kimono, "Itsuo-sama! What has the Head said about training with Seiji! He assigned times when you should be training with him! Especially speaking to the outsider without someone else present!" she scolded as she attempted to pulled him out of the room to change.

He pulled away from the maid, glaring at her which caused her to bow her head, "First of all, it's Shiro not Seiji. Secondly, she's a girl not a boy so i'll be training with HER. Thirdly, the outsider doesn't even remember anything about herself so I was filling her in. Finally, who are you to tell me what to do? I want to speak with Shiro-nee."

The maid squeaks in intimidation and runs out the room in search for Shiro. Itsuo sighs in relief before turning back to me, "I'm sorry you had to witness that." he apologizes, sitting back down next to my futon, "Being royal really does have it's perks sometimes, though I really don't enjoy the power of controlling someone at will."

I shook my head quickly, "No no no! It's completely fine! You should use it whenever you need it Kessho-san!" a reached out my hand to place it on top of his, though another hand had roughly grabbed my wrist, "Shiro-nee!" Itsuo's eyes widen before standing up and hugging his sibling.
