You thought you saw THE LAST of me HAHA

I've never watched The Last but I think the concept of it is pretty fucking stupid. However I did read a lot of wiki pages, synopsis', and plot lines.

Since Sasuke only appeared like twice, this entire thing is completely made up but in the setting of The Last.

The annoying squawks of a large bird caused a specific girl to stir slightly in her sleep. A strong arm gripped her waist tightly, pulling her closer to his larger figure as a source of warmth. However, the squawking only continued loudly causing her to slowly pull away and open the window to the inn she was staying at to allow a messenger hawk grip itself on the windowsill.

"Thank you..." she muttered, still tired after being rudely awakened. Her hands clenched the scroll tightly and she allowed the hawk to return to wherever it came from.

Opening the scroll, she read the contents of it before going over to the other figure that was in the bed and shaking it awake, "Sasuke..." she called out, shaking his body slightly, "Konoha needs us..."

He turned his body around to look at her, "What's so important that they need us?" He asked, a bit annoyed that she woke him up.

Tossing him the scroll, Koneko rushes to the bathroom, "Now?"

"Yes, now!" She yelled out from the bathroom.

Rolling his eyes, he begrudgingly got up and got ready as Koneko was just leaving the bathroom. Walking over, he places the back of his hand on her forehead, "Wha..-"

"You might have caught a cold." He said, moving away to pack up the rest of his stuff, "You're a bit warm and you're getting paler."

"I feel fine though..." she thought for a moment, allowing Sasuke to finish up so they can leave.

The two of them check out of the inn they were staying on and make their way to Konoha which was conveniently close enough that they could walk casually back home.

They both enjoyed the silence before Koneko dug into her ninja pouch and pulled out two senbei crackers, "They were kinda enough to give me a few..." she spoke up, passing one to Sasuke, "Luckily they gave me a salty one." She puts hers away and Sasuke snacked into his.

He glanced at her causing her to wave her hand in dismissal, "I'm not that hungry right now. I ate a lot last night."

She notices a small smirk grow on his face, "I enjoyed my dinner last night too. Thanks."

"O-Oi you just can't talk about that stuff!" She stuttered out, realizing what he was hinting at.

"Talk about what, Koneko-kun?"

She hit his arm, gesturing for him to knock it off. Then, a small moving figure in the distance caused her to speed up slightly, "Hiashi?" She questioned, recognizing the familiar chakra from when she protected him in the war. Jogging up to him and leaving Sasuke behind, she bends down to help him stand up.

"Are you okay?" She asks, reaching over to heal his wounds, however a hand grabbed her wrist before she could even start, "My hands are fine now!" she shouted at Sasuke who gripped on her wrist from preventing her from healing him.

She still fully wasn't in the clear to begin using chakra again and Sasuke knew that. Pulling her hand away, she still continued to use healing jutsu on him.

"Hanabi-" Hiashi began, explaining the situation to Koneko and Sasuke.

"Naruto and Hinata can get her back." Koneko lifted Hiashi onto her back and began running towards Konoha with Sasuke following straight behind, "For now, we have to get to Konoha."
