As Itsuo, Toshiyuki, and Koneko made their way to the Kage Summit in the Land of Iron, the entire trip was quiet.

Each break, camp, or quick breather stops. All of it was in pure silence.

They all hopped through the trees as a tense atmosphere surrounded them. The two boys must have guessed that something happened with Koneko before their trip and they knew it was better not to dive too deeply into it.

Koneko notices their silence and glances behind her before abruptly stopping, "What?" She questioned.

"We're just worried about you, Koko-Chan." Toshiyuki holds her hands tightly, "You've been through a lot..."

Her heart sinks with guilt at his words. Hiding so much from her friends, leaving everything they had behind, "I'm sorry... I didn't know..." she looks away, "I'll tell you everything soon... Now just isn't the best time."

She jumps away, leaving both of them to hurry up and catch up with her. Why wouldn't she share her experiences? What she's been through?

As Koneko had finally felt the immense chakras of the five Kages, her body was pulled back by Itsuo. Then, a figured jumped out of the tree in front of the trio causing all of their eyes to widen, "Takara?" Itsuo questioned, sensing the familiar chakra.

Takara looked sickly pale. Her body was hunched over and her eyes were dead and blank. He was only able to barely read her chakra patterns. How did it change so much? It was like her DNA changing...

She charged at Koneko with her tanto blade, which she blocked with a kunai, "Takara snap out of it!" She shouted, seeing her empty eyes as she was intent on killing Koneko, "This isn't like you!" She pushed Takara away from her, activating her Sharingan to try to get to the bottom of her actions.

Toshiyuki pulled out a kunai, getting ready to attack Takara, but Koneko put her arm out to stop him, "I can fix this." She declared, glaring at Takara as she was getting ready to charge again. Her mind flashed to the moment that Danzo and the Root members carried Takara's body away. Her body flashed into Niji Mode, "I only have about five minutes, just hold her down the best you can."

Hironori controlled her Niji mode. When it would activate, she didn't do it on purpose. He controlled her power. Did he not trust her with his chakra where she could control it?

A ball of chakra emerged from her and shined brightly, "I understand..." she stared at it, before crushing it in her hands, "We are one being..." he understood her, and she understands him.

Toshiyuki goes to charging for Takara's right while Itsuo goes left. She summons a new blade, causing Koneko's eyes to widen. It was an exact replica of the chakra sabre that that her father and grand-father had used. Why she knew it was a replica?

She pulled up her sleeve and in a poof of smoke, the real chakra sabre had appeared. Clashing with the fake, Koneko inspected the weapon closely and clicked her tongue, "He really never learns his lesson?" She shifted the blade slightly, finding the weak point and broke the fake blade in half, "Don't test my patience next time, Danzo." She reverse summoned her tanto away and used the broken one and pinned Takara to the ground.

The earth under her locked Takara into place and a chakra seal wrapped itself around her entire body. Koneko shrouds chakra around her hand and places them on Takara's face, "Chakra Style: Luminescent Purification."

A hand grabbed Koneko's and pulled her off of Takara before the jutsu was finished, "W-wait a second, Koneko!" Itsuo rushed, staring at Takara's body locked in place.
