Mirrors of Koneko {Book 2 of the Copy Kitten Series}

Epilogue: The Kitten, Peaceful.

Koneko rushed to Sasuke's side, wincing as both Sasuke and Naruto's chakra clashed inside of her. She was able to absorb most of the chakra, however she wasn't able to control it correctly, meaning she was going to suffer greatly from it. Her entire body sparked under the pressure, but that didn't stop her from pulling Sasuke out of the Madara statue and healing him immediately.

"First we save the world and now you go fight your best friend... you're the worst." She bit her lip in concentration as she healed Sasuke's wounds, "I'm not really as good as Sakura, but this should be for when they come and help...when are they coming anyways-" she was suddenly interrupted as Sasuke roughly tugged her Akatsuki cloak.

Their lips met in a hasty kiss as Sasuke forcibly gained dominance over Koneko as she was still shocked at the sudden action. She tried to use her hand to pull away, but he held her head into place without giving her much of a fighting chance. Her body was finally able to escape from his grasp, "Wh-what was that for? You-"

"Marry me."

She laughed it off as she continued to heal him. She took it as a joke, "Haha very funny~"

He rolled his eyes, "Didn't you hear me the first time, Koneko-kun?" he stared right at her eyes and repeated himself, "I want us to get married."

Her heart melted at the sound of her old nickname from him. Tears dropped from her eyes as her bangs casted a shadow over her eyes, "You're seriously the worst." She wiped away her tears, "First you ask me in the middle of a war, then you ask me when you're close to dying...You seriously have the worst timing." she looked at his condition. He most likely used his last bit of strength to pull off that stunt since he still breathed heavily from his fight with Naruto. His body was riddled with bruises and cuts and his chakra levels were extremely low.

Why would he say something like that?

Both Sakura and Kakashi jump over to help Naruto, but seeing Sasuke is such a horrible state Sakura came over to help. Koneko watched silently as Sakura healed Sasuke to the best of her abilities and turned around leaving Sasuke without an answer. Sakura sees Koneko leaving and calls out to her, "Koneko! Where-"

"I'm going to make sure everyone is okay from the infinite tsukuyomi." she switched to her Shiro mode, "I'm the only one to make it to both locations extremely quickly, so I'll leave these two to you guys."

However, before she was able to make her first flicker, her body transformed back into her normal self and she fainted on the spot. Though, Kakashi was able to catch her body before she hit the ground.

"Kyoko!"

Sasuke left the prison, finally a free man. After his trials, he was set free to roam the village again. Never in his life he thought he would be back, but here he was anyways.

The first person to greet him was Sakura, "Sasuke-kun! Thank goodness you're okay..." she sighed in relief, seeing as he passed by her without a second thought, "U-ummm if you're looking for Naruto or Kakashi-Sensei, they said that they were-"

"Where's Koneko?" He interrupted, looking around to see if he can sense her chakra.

Sakura jumped at the sudden question, "The last place I saw her was at her house-"

And with that, Sasuke immediately disappeared.

With a few knocks, Kakashi opened up the door to his house to reveal Sasuke, "Oh Sasuke, what are you here for?"

"Is Koneko home?" He asked, earning a small hum as Kakashi thought about where his daughter is.

"She said she was heading to the Hokage Mountain-" he began, but stopped the moment Sasuke disappeared from his sight. He sighed, "Kids these days..."
