Sebastian froze. He knew this wasn't really his father... But it was at the same time. Was it? Was it really?

Jakkai waited for Sebastian to say something! He flipped his arms up expecting a reply.

"Well?" He asked. It was the exact voice he had. "Don't you have questions?"

Just that line infuriated Sebastian. "Don't I have questio - of course I have questions! You bet your ass I do!"

Jakkai flinched as if kicked. Sebastian remembered how his father always tried to have Sebastian show nothing but respect towards him.

"What are you? What am I?" Sebastian asked. His throat felt dry and began to crack. "What's all this nonsense about magic and whatever? This is - that is all nonsense. Magic isn't real."

"Sebastians, I know it's all freaky and sounds stupid-"

"No, no. Totally normal." Sebastians sarcastically said.

"-But it's the truth. We aren't normal. We are sorcerers. Magical beings without the need of a magical item. We have been for years."

Finding it all hard to believe, Sebastian kept the conversation going, not focusing his attention on the question, but more of his dad. This all felt too wrong. "If we were sorcerers, how come you never told me before? How come you never used your "magic"? How come I never noticed?"

"I never told you before because being a sorcerer isn't all peachy. I wanted you to have a happy life - a normal life. Not telling you was the only way. I didn't want you getting into trouble by accident.

"I didn't use any magic for several reasons. One: if I ever used my powers beyond this room, people would come for me. Much like the ones that rampaged our home back then."

"And like the twins..." Sebastian added.

All of the sudden, the woman's voice came back on. "I'm sorry. This 'recording' has a limit as to what to respond to."

Sebastian realized that this must have been created before the two twins ever came here. So this fake dad wouldn't know about them. He continued to speak.

"You never noticed you had these powers because I blocked them off when you were young. It was a difficult spell, but a possible one. Only blood related people can do this spell to each other if the other is at a young age. I was lucky enough you a day off from being too old. Don shouldn't have any abilities himself, but his mom did the same spell to him and his sister just in case.

"I did my best to protect the three of you. I failed Sarah. I know you and her were like brother and sister, and I'm sorry. But even then, I couldn't put you at risk."

Sebastian was finding all of this magic bullshit. But why did it feel so right?

"Why would these people even want you in the first place?" Sebastian needed to know.

"Because the foreseers predicted something... Confusing. It was foretold that when I developed full control of my magic, my destiny could go two ways. Down the path of life, or the path of death. It wasn't like one wrong move could make me evil, it was uncertain if I was even the one. But I gained full control of my powers before you even arrived.

"So the foreseers, or sorcerers who see visions of the future, were wrong, which wasn't surprising. The one with an unfortold future was you. Evil sorcerers have tried to get to me before, but as you can see, they have failed. I wanted no part in their little schemes.

"And then you came along. You were considered the son of the most powerful sorcerer in the world. And the foreseers, they confirmed that the vision was meant for you. If the dark sorcerers took you, history would have said you would have brought destruction and death to all life on Earth.

"But we protected you with everything we had. And that was when I did the seel. That was when you're mother died protecting you. We all tried so hard to protect you so you could protect others."

Sebastians head started to hurt. How old was he at the time, because he swore he somehow remembered these events. Sebastian shook his head. If he really did have magic, he needed it know more than ever.

"How did you know to make this video way back when?" Sebastian was wondering that for a while.

"Foreseers aren't the only ones who can see their destiny. Remember how you had a dream about me dying? Your dreams were visions. Your powers are so strong that some slip out of the seel when you, nor anyone else, don't notice. I saw myself die the day of the Blue Sun."

"How many other visions did you have?" If he saw his death, he must have seen other things. Jakkai lowered his head.

"Too many."

Sebastian could tell that his dad went through so many things in his life and Sebastian was pushing his luck. How many more questions could Jakkai answer before that woman speaks again?

"Well, those dark sorcerers are coming to get me. And you're... ...You need to help me break the seel. I need to learn to defend myself from them!"

Jakkai sat back in his office chair, contemplating. Was that even possible? Well, it didn't matter if it was possible, it was already happening. Finally, he looked up.

"You see that folder on the computer screen that looks like a phone?" Jakkai asked.

Sebastian made the video screen smaller and looked for the icon. He found a red flip phone icon just sitting there without a title.

"Double click it. Then, reach into the dwoar on your right. There should be an earpiece in there. Connect it to the computer."

Sebastian did as he was told and after 20 seconds, they finally connected. When the earpiece started to blink, the video ended. Sebastian was now shocked. He had so many more questions.

Sebastian sat in the office chair looking up at the blank screen. There goes his last time to speak to his dad. Again, it wasn't even a good one.

After a while, Sebastian heard a noise. It was very small, and quiet, but that's when he finally realized that it was coming from the earpiece in his hand. He put it up to his ear and heard Jakkai again.

"Helllooooo?" Jakkai called out.

Sebastian let out a sigh of relief. His heart basically stopped.

"Sorry, I wasn't sure what quite happened." Sebastian assured. "Did you just download yourself into this?"

."Yep." Jakkai said. He sounded cheerful. "But before we talk more, I'm sending you a camping spot somewhere far off. I want you to go there. There's two things to do there. One: there's someone for you to meet there."

"And two?" Sebastian asked confused.

"Your gonna get your magic back."
