Sebastian was in a taxi. He didn't want to linger on anything that his computer dad said so Sebastian got a shit ton of money, packed two weeks worth of clothes and called one of his dad's friends to pick him up. Almost like a personal taxi.
Trees raced across Sebastians view. There was someone he had to meet. There had to be. Otherwise, how else was he going to break the spell? And how long did he have until he would reach his destination? Or until his driver would say, 'you're on your own.'?
Sebastian was about to pull out his phone but was interupted by the driver. "We won't be there for a couple of hours. I suggest leaving your phone... Thing... Alone."
Phone thing? "You mean my smart phone?"
"Yeah yeah, that." This Mexican driver didn't have any decorations around at all for his car. He must be too busy to decorate. He also seemed to not ask for any details of where exactly he is going.
"How do you know how long it will take?" Sebastian asked.
"Google maps." He smiled. "Just kidding. This is my third time going down here. It wasn't too long ago from the last time. Maybe a couple of days, week and a half maybe."
"Wow... I wonder..." Sebastians thought finally hit him. "Did you have two people with you the last time you came here?"
"Actually yeah! They had a lot of luggage and because of traffic, it lasted a bit longer than it should have, which is probably why they wanted to go so early in the morning."
Sebastian knew that his father had taken Don out over here for something. Maybe it was to get Don's magic. Now it was Sebastians turn.
"You dropped off my father."
"What?! YOU'RE JACKS KID?!?!" he yelled, a little shaken up.
"You knew my dad as well?" Sebastian was surprised now.
"Knew your father - he's my number one customer! We even went for drinks with each other. He's a good friend, but I never would have guessed he had a kid. Especially as old as you!"
So his dad really did have friends. Friends, girlfriend, and family. Stuff Sebastian is running out of.
After calming down, the driver said "Get some sleep. It's gonna be a long ride. And it was. Sebastian fell asleep but then woke up several hours later.
"So why are you going over here?"
"My dad left me a message somewhere here. I have to find out what." Sebastian knew that something was there waiting for him, he just didn't know what.
"Maybe you should ask the guy who you're father talked to to stay here."
It was a start. "What does he look like?"
"Kinda fat, usually wears button up shirts, has grey hair. He is right there." The taxi pulled to a stop sign in a small parking lot next to a forest. On the left of them was a sidewalk leading down the road for however long it was. On the right was an empty parking lot except one black car with a fat, man around his fifties leaning on it with his arms crossed. He had a bit of white facial hair growing.
Sebastian gave the driver money as he got out with all his stuff. The man had been waiting for him.
