This was requested by SierraHeart350 and I had fun writing it!

Your POV:

You had gotten used to your sightless life, relying instead on your other four senses, mainly sound and touch. You heard wind whistling through a tunnel. You cautiously edged to the side until you found a wall. You kept your right hand on it, and walked slowly forward.

You walked for probably a few hours, until you grew too fatigued and hungry to continue. You sat on the floor and took off your old, beat up backpack and reached in, grabbing a granola bar.

You opened the wrapper and ate until the tin foil fell to the floor by your feet. You shoved the empty wrapper into your pocket, stood up and repeated your strategy of walking along the wall blindly, until a gruff, but kind voice spoke.

"Are you lost, sweetheart?"

You snapped around, following the sound of the voice. You nodded, shivering. Only then did you notice your watery eyes and shaky knees. You were completely lost in a strange place, and you couldn't see anything.

"Hey, look at me, you're gonna be fine. I'm gonna help you." The man said.

"I-I can't look at you. I-I'm blind." You explained, tears flowing freely down your ashy and dusty cheeks.

"Oh, sweetheart. You poor thing. Here, I'll help you get out of here." He said. "What's you name?" He asked. You felt  strong arms lifting you up bridal style. You wrapped your own arms around his neck and tucked your chin into your chest, exhausted.

"Y-y/n." You answered. "What about you?"

"I'm Sans. Sans the skeleton." He said. Wait. He was a skeleton...? Okay. Makes sense.

"Do you know how you got here?" Sans asked.

"No. I don't remember anything at all. I just remember waking up, but I saw nothing. I had this backpack, and that's all." You heard Sans click his tongue thoughtfully.

"Okay. Do you know where you are?" He asked. What was this, an interrogation? Just kidding, you didn't mind.

"N-no, I don't..." You replied, shivering again. Sans continued walking, explaining about the underground.

"We're currently in the ruins. Ever since Queen Toriel died, I like to come here, it's calm." He said. You yawned, cuddling closer to the skeleton sleepily. You felt him stiffen and you blushed.

Eventually you drifted off, waking as you heard the soft crunching of snow that had pulled you to sleep stop abruptly, replaced by by the sound of feet on old, creaky wood. You heard the click of a lock, and the squeak of a door.

A blast of warm air hit you, and you squeezed your eyes shut again, clutching Sans' jacket a little tighter. You guessed you were in his house, when a loud, booming voice interuppted your thoughts.

"SANS! WHAT IS A HUMAN DOIMG HERE?!" The voice yelled.

"She's blind, boss. I'm helping her." Sans explained. You continued pretending to be asleep, hoping no one would notice your eyes being momentarily open.

You heard she loud voice clicking their tongue, and footsteps walking away.

"YOU HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT, AND I NEVER WANT IT IN MY WAY!"

"I know. Don't worry, I'll take care of her." Sans sighed. You jolted a bit as you felt Sans walking up some stairs.

You relaxed after a moment, and heard the creaking of another door. You were lowered slowly and carefully onto something soft. Probably a mattress.

You shivered and curled up into a ball on your side.

"Oh, crap." You heard him mutter. Suddenly, something soft and big was placed delicately on top of you. A blanket? Whatever. You enjoyed the warmth, then tensed up as something heavy laid down next to you.

You heard a soft sigh in your ear, and blushed as Sans started twirling your hair around his fingers absentmindedly.

He recited sad poems under his breath that broke your heart.

"The scars that you see,
They were all made by me,
And my tears have turned red,
From the blood that I've shed,
People think that I'm lost to the madness,
But really I'm just cloaked in sadness,
I could use a rope or a knife,
Looking back on my whole life,
I see the pain and I see the hurt,
I feel my heart about to burst,
Why can't they see?
That all my life,
I've been afraid of.....

Me."

You memorized this particular poem in years to come, and kept it with you at all times, a reminder of all the sadness that Sans kept locked inside, deep down.

You were saddened by this, and eventually rolled over, wrapping your arms around Sans, and putting your head in the crook of his neck. You felt his warm breath on your hair, and blushed.

"You have beautiful voice." You whispered.

BONUS!:

"You say, the price of mah loves not a price that you're willing to pay. You crryyyy! In your tea, which you hurl in the sea when you see me go by!" Sans sang. You giggled.

"I told you you have a beautiful voi-" "-Shhh! I barely started the song! Let me finish serenading you!" Sans interuppted, kissing you softly to make you shut up.

You blushed and stayed silent.

"Ahem. Why so sad? Remember we made an arrangement when you went away, now you're making me maaaaaaad! Remember despite out estrangement, I'm your maaaaaan!

You'll be back! Soon you'll see, you remember you belong to me! You'll be back, time will tell, you remember that I served you well." You let him finish the song, then kissed him softly.

"You are the best thing that's ever happened to me, sweetheart." He whispered, pulling away for a moment. You smirked.

"You think I don't know that already? I love you." You said softly, kissing him again.
