"Let's have a bet!" Seokjin said excitedly in the train.
"Deal!" Jimin replied right away. For some reason, the two always seemed to enjoyed one-up ing each other.
"Aish," Jungkook clicked his tongue, lightly slapping Jimin's thigh, since he was standing up, along with Seokjin, on the train, while the three of us were sitting. There were unoccupied seats, but they had another bet on who looks the coolest. "You don't even have a bet yet."
"Alright, any ideas?" Taehyung questioned, turning to me first, before the others.
"Jaehee would've been good at this," Jimin gave Jungkook a teasing look, and Jungkook slapped Jimin's thigh, this time, not so lightly. Jimin moved away, laughing as he did so. "But how about.. the person that loses the most games.."
"Treats us to an amusement park!" Taehyung said excitedly. I never went to an amusement park before. So that was going to be interesting.
I forced a smile, "I like that idea."
"Amusement park it is!" Jimin said, flashing Seokjin a competitive glare. "Also, Taehyung, you better bring Yuna with you, or else!"
Taehyung cocked an eyebrow, "Or else what?"
"I miss her!" Seokjin added, pretending to cry. Man. As much as I hate to admit it; they were losers. But they were fun to be with, I guess. There was never an awkward atmosphere. And they seemed so comfortable with each other.
"By the way, where's Yoongi-hyung?" Jungkook questioned, as we got off the train. I've never been to this place before. It was less colder here, which was better. As we walked out of the train station, I couldn't help but admire the beautiful city.
It looked so lively. And though it was only 3PM, since it was cloudy, the buildings already had their lights on, and I was suddenly excited.
"He didn't want to come," Jimin explained. I've never seen this Yoongi around before. But the way Jimin described him, he didn't seem to like going out that much. "He stayed up late last night, and told me he needs to finish this song."
"Lazy, yet a workaholic at the same time." Seokjin nodded. "But really, he seems a bit off. It's like he's shutting us out again."
I felt left out - that's for sure, so I might as well speak up more. After all, I had to earn their trust. And I should at least remind them I could talk.
"Maybe there are plenty of things in his mind right now." I explained. I was always good at observing people, even if I didn't know them. And the way Jimin talked about him.. maybe that was enough information. "Maybe these past few days, something's happened. He's working to get his mind off of something."
Jimin was the first one to reply, "What could it possibly be?"
"He really needs to open up more," Taehyung sighed, as he fixed his beanie. "I want to help Yoongi-hyung. But I can't help him if he doesn't say anything. But if he does have a problem, I know he can solve it. I just want to be there for him."
"I don't know him," I spoke up. "But I don't think it's anything too bad. If it's anything major, he would probably act a lot more paranoid. He seems.. much calmer."
"You're good," Seokjin complimented. "Are you a therapist, or something?"
Though I didn't like people, I was good at reading expressions and actions. Maybe it's because I experienced plenty that only a few do - death, murder.. and I've witnessed being the actual victim. It's like a knew more about the people's feelings and wants more than I do with myself.
