Everyday.

I thought about him.

Every single thing reminded me about him - the view of the city, it reminded me of the view in his apartment. The mirror, it reminded me on that one time he visited me unexpectedly, the makeup, which I suddenly left untouched, it reminded me on how.. naturally beautiful I was.

I continued to stare down on the invitation I got.

Though there was no name written on it, I knew who I got it from. It was an invitation bidding me to go to a formal party - not too far from here, to celebrate the success of a business project. Of course it came from the man that hired me himself;

To kill Park Jimin.

A dress code. Of course, there always was. It was a formal party, so I had no choice but to wear something formal. This was my chance.

I wasn't going to do something against my will. I was going to attend this business party, and I was going to bring him to his home. I was going to tempt him - and I was going to kill him. I know he kept track of my actions. That to this day, I haven't done anything to harm Jimin.

And that was a big no. But now that I knew his intentions.. for someone like Jimin, whatever it was, I wasn't going to let him win. But for someone like me.. to soften up for something like this, it made me question so many things.

If Jimin happened to know about the countless crimes I committed, would he still stay by me? I wanted to change. I always wanted to - but life gave me no reason to. But now that I needed to change, I couldn't. I was too far from good.

I didn't know anymore. I didn't want to think about it. My mind pounded when the doorbell rang. Cursing under my breath, I placed the invitation under the bed sheets, before making my way to the door to answer it.

I didn't bother checking who it was. I pulled the door open, my heart skipping a beat once seeing Jimin waving at me. I gasped, stumbling back a bit.

"Yah, I'm sorry!" he laughed, realising he startled me. He gave me a look, as if to question if he could come inside. I nodded slowly, my hand on my chest as he walked inside. I wasn't used to getting startled. "Are you okay?" he asked between his fits of laughs, closing the door behind him.

I nodded slowly, flashing him a small smile as I made my way to the couch. "Jimin.. seriously, what are you doing here?" I wasn't fond of surprises, at least, when it was a person that visited me out of a sudden. I always wanted to be aware.

"I'm sorry," he apologised cheekily, sitting across from me. "But I was just so bored! And.. Maki, don't get mad.. please?" he said slowly. Yeah, I know about him forgetting to give me back my glasses. But I wasn't sure f this was about that. He wasn't wearing them.

"Why?" I questioned, putting on my socks, since I liked having them on when I was just at home. The room was cold due to the AC, and that made me more tempted to go to sleep - after all, I always have a hard time sleeping at night.

"I lost your glasses." he lowered his head. "Maki, I'm so, so sorry! I knew they were expensive, and that they helped you with your sight, but I placed them somewhere last night, and they were gone when I looked for them!"

My brows furrowed on how panicky he was. The glasses helped a lot with my problem - but I could just get another one, "Jimin.. it's okay. I could just get new ones." I would've been enraged if it was someone else..

"Really?" he perked up, a small smile crawling to the edge of his lips.

"You're more important than some glasses," I reassured. "I need them, but I wouldn't go to a point to getting mad at you just for that. How long do you think I am, Jimin?" I cocked an eyebrow, and overcome with excitement, I felt him wrap his arms around me.
